I'm a songwriter and have written three or four songs. I would have written more but I have really high standards for how they sound. I know I probably won't be able to change the fact that I have high standards, but are there any tips for writing good lyrics?

just like write your emotions or write about things that happen to you....like if i get my heart broken or i get really happy or just something that happens to me then i can write a wickedly good poem. Its just a trigger i guess...

My sister's friend told one of my friends that I like this boy that my friend knows.Im scred and worried that my friend is going to tell him and Im really shy so i dont know what to do if he confronts me about it.I dont want to embaress myself and I dont want other people to laugh at me.PLEASE HELP ME!!

just chill it aint the end of the world if one boy finds out how you feel about him...and its not like everyone doesnt do embarrasing stuff...just the other day i bit it in my english class...you just got to learn to laugh at myself...no one would have known about me falling if i wasnt dying laughing....you just have to learn not to care what others think..and honey he could like you too so it is better to tell him..it makes you feel better when its out in the open really, or it does me anyway...i always tell a guy i like him unless he has a girlfriend...it just takes the stress off of things and it keeps you from being the kind of girl that sits at home wondering what he thinks about you...but if you dont want him to know then just make your friend swear not to tell :)

Lately everytime I go pee, it burns a lot under the hood of my private. I asked my mom about it and she said since I have a cold that it might have affected the rest of my body also. I need to know what I can do to releive the burning because I go to the bathroom a lot and it hurts A LOT.

it could be a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection...go to the doctor..i advise soon too :)

Okay well umm i could tell you the old cliche ask him but most wont...ha ha but like if his legs point towards you then he is unconciously flirting. And if his pupils dialate when he looks at you then he likes you. And if he holds eye contact with you longer than you would with anyone else then there might be soemthing there... And if you scoot next to him and he dont move then he likes you....but if he scoots away then he might feel uncomfortable..and if he touches you in some way then that is a sign cause it means he wants to be next to you..and if he is a shy guy then he might look at you a lot or give you a huge smile all the time...

OK well girls usually flirt like hmm...hard to explain ha ha...just like lightly touch his shoulder when you try to make a point, and make lots of eye contact...and like if your tired lay your head on his shoulder and say "oh my goodness im so tired!" then lift your head up...and like smile at him and when he looks up at you turn away shyly but then two seconds later look up and do it again but this time hold the gaze ...if you hold the eye contact for a fraction longer than what you would with any one else then its good.. and scoot next to him...if he dont move it means he is into it...

And i really think that you could have a chance, i mean im not gonna lie i didnt read the other question because i couldnt find it....but i think that anything is possible if you want to be... if he moves you have letters and telephone...but yeah

kat,i looked at the question about brown blood on a nother girls question, and it said old blood, wellw hat if it is on the tampon also, not like when i pee tho? is that still normal?

its perfectly normal...like mine and my sisters, when we first start its brown and then it goes red and when it gets ready to quit then it goes brown again. Like the person below me said its just because the blood is getting lighter.

Ok, so I met this guy over spring break at the hotel we were staying at. We met at the pool, but by the time he actually gathered his guts up to come get my phone number, he had to leave, so we didn't get to talk much. Anyway, I went back up to my room and he texted me and we talked for like 2 hours. Then he asked me if I was a virgin? and I was like "um yeah, I am only 14" and he was like "awesome". Then he changed the subject. So he kept talking and he was really sweet and everything and kept going "you're so beautiful" and stuff. Then I had to go. Then the next day, we were both leaving, so we were hoping to say goodbye in person and stuff, but things came up, so we didn't get to say goodbye. So I was going home and then he texts me and was all sad and all. Then we start talking and he says "you have an amazing body, would you ever send me a picture of it" ((keep in mind i've only talked to this guy once and only known him for about a day)) and I said "Um, I don't know, but you already saw it at the pool" and he was like "yeah....". Then we were talking and he suddenly asked me how big my boobs were??? I don't know what was going through his head, but I answered "um that was kind of perverted" and he was like "yeah...sorry" and then I said "whatever" and he just stopped texting me. It's been a few days and he hasn't texted me since. What's going on? The night before, he was saying that I was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen and then he was asking my perverted things. I'm really confused. Help?

Um he sounds like a complete and udder jerk....be thankful he stopped...he is a perv and you can almost bet he is just telling you that so he can steal your v card....(virginity)....if i were you i would call your phone company and tell them to block the number...they may be just text messages but honey it can lead to bigger and more dangerous things....

this may be a silly question or perhaps impossible to answer, but here goes: we have a very extreme ant problem. they turn up everywhere, bathroom kitchen, living rm, bedroom, etc. all of our food is in tupperwares and none gets left out for longer than a few minutes, but if a fork gets left on the table they swarm, or a dish in the sink, and even a diaper in the bathroom garbage. question is, how do I get rid of them without killing them? I strongly believe in not hurting any living thing, but these guys drive me nuts! any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

honestly i dont think there is another solution...i would talk to an exterminator and see what they say.

okay so ive had my period for about a year and a half. Its so irregular and sometimes I skip a couple months. I masterbate sometimes so I was wondering if that had anything to do with it. Just wondering what's up with me. I don't think I should have this irregular cycles.

some peoples periods arent normal like that....i mean one month mine will come on the twenty fifth day and then the next month on the twenty seventh day..and it will come for about 3 or 4 days, stop for a day, then come back up real light for 2 days...so yeah..and i dont think that masterbating has anything to do with it.

Long story short: I fall for a guy. The guy ends up using me for physical stuff. I pretend I've completely gotten over guy. I'm a lier.
Guy once told me the hottest woman alive is this actor who once was one that 70's show. All I know about her is that she has red hair, and she's not DONNA. Does anyone have a clue? There's this guy, he's been my bestfriend sense 6th grade, and he flirts with me alot. Everyone says we'd make a cute couple if we went out. He used to hug me everyday, also in between classes, and he used to put his hands on my waist, and put his hands on my stomach everytime i said my stomach hurt and stuff. Now he has a girlfriend, who he says he really likes and i think i like him..alot. and now he doesnt do any of the stuff he used to..and he said he'd go to this club[for 7th-11th graders. me and him are in 7th] with me but we had to make sure his girlfriend didnt know, and she has the 8th grade lunch instead of your lunch and he just doesnt to that to me anymore..idk why..help?

well according to your topic line...I think that one just knows when your in love, like you get this feeling. Lust is strictly wanting someone for their body, Like if you were to see a hot guy and say "id tap that!" that is lust.

And he probably isnt flirting with you because of the new girl. Like the person below said he probably cares about her a lot. But that dont mean he still dont care about you. Maybe he just dont want to give his girlfriend the wrong idea, or you the wrong idea either, but in his efforts to try and make one person happy he hurt the other one. Just talk to him, like a friend, and ask him whats wrong.

I haven't gotten my period in like four months, I haven't had sex so I'm not worried that I'm pregnant or anything like that. Last night I had some really bad cramps and all day today I've been going to the bathroom really often to pee and well I don't really pee a lot, or even at all, there's just this burning feeling down there. I don't know if this means I'll be getting my period soon or if it's something else.

Suggestions? Answers?

I would go to the doctor because that is not normal. My brother had this feeling to pee a lot but when he would get in there he wouldnt have a lot and it would just burn. I dont know how it works for girls because i havent experienced one (knock on wood!) but is that what you are feeling?? He had a urinary tract infection, and needed antibiotics...i would say go to your doctor.
