it is known as the "kissing disease" basically its from kissing or sharing drinks or foods.. stuff like that....it makes you really tired and your not supposed to do exercise for like 3 months, and you lose weight and your just really sore for a long time...and you throw up and get diarreah...here is a website to tell you all about it...

Well I'm not a doctor haha, but what I know its also called the "kissing disease". When someone gets Mono, they could be sick for a very long time. A month or sometimes more. You lose a bunch of weight, I'm not sure why, if it's from puking or just not being hungry. Your tired most of the time. My one friend got sick about when school started, and didn't get 100% better until after Christmas. I hope I helped some! =D
