HEY!!!
Um.. hello there.
I'm one of the very few people that are blessed with a hard to buy for boyfriend. I'm sure you've already guessed what my question is. What the heck do I buy for him for Christmas? I've spent countless hours pondering over the subject. This past week we went shopping. We were at Sam Goody when he found these extremely rare Linkin Park cd's. He and I are both very big fans of Linkin Park. Anyway, he didn't have quite enough money to buy them. So, I offered to buy them for Christmas. He refused. He has Linkin Park shirts, Linkin Park hoodies, shoes, almost every Linkin Park cd imaginable. He likes NCSU (Y'all from North Carolina know who) and the Carolina Hurricanes. He's an outdoorsy type person (he canoes, hikes, plays sports) as am I. Everything I've asked him about he either already has or refuses to let me buy it. So, what the heck am I supposed to do? Any ideas/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
Tickets to Linkin Park? Maybe, I'm not sure. I'm not so hot myself with giving presents. Or something from the CArolina Hurricanses. Or something sweet and an inside joke kind of thing. And whatever you buy don't ask him bc he won't say ok until it's down to a card.
I have straight hair (cuz i blow dry it straight) and its about medium length (not quite to the middle of my back). In the front it's angled and it starts just below my chin. I wash my hair every morning and blow dry it straight, but then after a while it starts getting dented in the front where its angled, i guess from putting it behind my ears. But even if i dont put it behind my ears, it still won't stay straight all day. Even if i straighten it that still wont work. How does everyone else get their hair to stay perfectly straight and frizz-free all day? (i especially need help with the front angles of my hair) Any ideas?
Try flatening fluid, if there's a Beauty supply store near you, you could try there. Or ask your hairdresser. Maybe spraying hairspray on a comb and brushing it into your hair. Hope I helped! And may your days of dented hair be over!

im in 8th grade (13 / female) and well in my gym class this year i have like no one to talk to.. there's the popular girls that somehow have the same class together .. the unpopulars, the geeks, the preps, and some of the jocks, and then there's me .. i dont really fit in to any of those categories (i guess i`m just average) .. well heres the real problem i actually do have a friend in my class, lets call her Monica but she doesnt even look at me, I guess shes embarassed to be seen with me or something cuz the whole class long she hangs out with this girl lets call her Jessica. And well when they hang out together their like all BFF and they really kinda arent .. anyways should i tell Monica or not ( like she knows i want to switch classes but i never told her why) . .what should i do ?

my friends always ask me personal questions like "who do you like" .. but i dont know if i should tell them bcuz they might tell other people ... how do you know when you can trust your friends?
You just need to be able to trust the person. If they ask you and you feel like you don't know them well enough just say "Oh, well nobody right now. What about you?" That way you can begin to build a trust by keeping their secrets, maybe? Lol hope i helped!

I don't really know bc i don't know how they don't want to hang out with you. Maybe try calling them and see if they want to go to a movie.
Okay, I there's this guy that likes me and i told him i would go to a dance with him but now i dont wanna go (and for a good reason dont worry) so would it be rude to tell him over the phone? Or should i do it in person? I would really rather do it over the phone so i wont be as nervous but im afraid it might be rude. Plz help me!! And i need to know like ASAP!! Thx
In person! But somewhere where you can easily leave..well that is if you're want to go to the dance but not with him. If you just don't want to go to the dance in general then yeah you can do it on the phone.
Okay so my friend just told me that my other friend got raped about 2 years ago.. and I am just now finding this out. And oh my god, I didn't believe her at first, but I know she wouldn't lie about something like this. Ah I am in total shock, I like still can't believe it. I just don't want to believe it... oh my god but I really need to tell my mom, she's good friends with my friend's mom and she deserves to know. But how in the world do I tell her? I like can't come right out and say it.. ahh I really just want to forget about all this though... HELP!!
Go to the friend first. But wait for a good moment? I don't know how you'll find one but you need to. She may have already delt with the law stuff and her mom may already know. If this is the case, keep it to yourself. She def doesn't want anyone knowing. If she hasn't done anything, tell her she should. But don't be to nosey about it, lol if that makes sense. Ok, i was at sonic and a really hot girl brought the food out to me. Ive never seen her before in my life, but i got the nerve to ask he for her number. and she actually gave it to me. Ok now im stumped. What do i do? Should i call her n ask her out, or what? help plz.
Call her! Just ask her if she wants to meet you somewhere and go out to eat. And you should do that more often, girls love it.
Ok, here is my situaton. I am a 14/f and in 9th grade. Well, i take a foods (cooking) class and there is this guy AJ who is in my group. Well the other day Garth, also in my group, asked me who I was going to the X-mas dance with and I said no one and that I wasnt even sure I was going. Well, AJ, an 11th grader said he was doing the same thing. He then asked me if i wanted to go with him. He said he would pay for it (It is $35 to go as a couple)and he would pick me up. He also said that he wouldnt ditch me for someone else at the dance b/c I was his date. Well, AJ is a really nice guy but he isnt the most attractive guy if you know what I mean. Also, he is really immature...he acts like a lil kid a lot. Anyway, he said he didnt want to go as boyfriend/girlfriend. Just so he'd have a date. So now, I dont know if he wants go with me b/c he wants to or because he wants a date. I don't know what to do! I dont know if i should tell him yes or try and find another date. My friend Kayla said she was going to ask her friend Bunion if he would go with me. But she said that if he didnt want to go then to go with AJ and then ditch him at the dance just so he can pay and so i'll have a ride. I don't want to do that but maybe i should? I dont know. I dont want to hurt him but i want to go. I told her i wasnt going to go if i didnt have a date b/c I didnt want to pay $20 to go by myself.
Should I go with AJ or find another date? Im confused about what to do! Please help

If you do go with AJ, please don't ditch him! And if you decided you don't want to go with him, don't go with him. If you ditched him then he might hate you and what akwardness! Maybe find another date or go with the one Kayla has for you. Hope I helped!
