That info's from "the divine comedy", the most famous part of which is "dante's inferno". It's an accurate view of what christians believed in the middle ages, and what the roman catholic church officially believes, so that's "they". And I realize you might not be catholic, but that's where all the other christian branches originated, and that's what was originally believed.

Hey... I've been thinking lately. This isn't meant to be inflammatory or argumentative, I'd just like different opinions.
How could heaven be heaven if you know that 4 billion people are roasting in Hell just because they picked the wrong religion? I don't get that... I mean, if I were in heaven and I knew that, it would be Hell for me. And I know you can say, "well they chose wrong", but that doesn't seem to me like a reason for endless pain and suffering. I just got a new computer about a month ago from Dell. It's an E520, but I don't know much about computers or what I have, other than the Pentium 4 and the gig of RAM.
Anyway, whats happens when I load source is it starts off fine with the loading screen. The screen then goes black, and I can move my mouse pointer thingy around the screen like always. However, whenever I drag over the spots where it would say Find Servers, Quit, Play Game, etc., I still hear the clicky sound. Clicking things opens them (I can hear the opening sound), but I can't see anything. I have to do the old Ctrl Alt Delete thing to get rid of it.
Any ideas?
If you see absolutely nothing, just black(no mouse pointer or anything) then your computer probably didn't come with a graphics card. Go to start>right click "my computer">properties>hardware tab>device manager. Find "display adapters" and click the + to the left of it. Tell me what it says or it's not there. my computer says" low on virtial memory" what can i do? is this why my comp is so slow?
That means you need to install more RAM. RAM is pretty cheap, $30-$60 for 256MB. You'll need a technician to install it for you, since it's pretty advanced. As a TEMPORARY fix you can right click on "my computer"(in start menu) and then go to the "advanced tab" and then click on the button by "performance" and then go to "advanced" tab and then click "change" at the bottom. Then double both the numbers in the boxes and click "set". This is not the same as RAM and it's not a permanent solution.
Virtual memory has nothing to do with a hard drive, and you shouldn't buy one for this problem.

If it bothers you that you're dependent on marijuana, then go ahead and get help. If it doesn't bother you then you can keep doing it; marijuana isn't harmful or addictive; just don't do any of the harmful drugs. And don't use it when you're in school/work, when driving, or doing anything dangerous.

I'm really close to one of my teachers and she was recently married, as a gift to her I wanted to make her a DVD type of thing from pictures from her wedding. What I plan on doing with those pictures was making a slide show type of thing with their wedding song (Bless the Broken Road - Rascal Flatts) playing in the background. I know it can be done because my cousin used to do that every Christmas using family pictures, it's kind of hard to explain, but I'm sure someone will know what I'm talking about. I already told me teacher I was going to do it, she's making a CD of pictures she doesn't mind me using. (I wasn't at the wedding at I needed the pictures, this was the only way to get them). So I can't really go back on it, and I can't ask my cousin because she's out of state and I have zero way of contacting her (I've already tried). So I figured I'd ask anyone here if they knew how to do it.
If not then I'm probably going to resort to something lame like how people make picture slideshows for their myspace, but I'll just find a way to use music with it.
But I'd really like someone to let me know how to make something like that. I don't care if all it does is show the pictures with music on the background saved to a CD that you can only use in the computer. I would prefer to make it a DVD of the pictures and music (so her and her husband and family can all watch it). As far as I know they don't have a home computer, then again, I don't know if they have a DVD player, but I know that her mother does. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to do that and could give me instructions (or a site) on how to do something along those lines.
Or if anyone has any better ideas on how I can do something using those pictures and their wedding song (and other cute love songs).

If you use windows XP you should have windows movie maker in start>all programs>windows movie player. Ok, so open that up and import all the pictures you want to use. Right click each picture after it's imported and click "add to storyboard". Then right click a picture and select "add effect" Click "ease in" or "ease out" and add 3-5 of those to each picture you add an effect to. Don't ease in/out on every picture. Don't add both in and out on a single picture. After you're done with the pictures, select "import audio" and import the song. Right click the song and "add to storyboard. If the pictures are longer than the song, add the song again(so it loops). Then go to file>save as movie file and save it on your computer, this will take a very long time. The file is now saved wherever you saved it, as a WMV file(if you didn't change that). If you put this file on a CD it can be opened on any computer and played back. To get it to play on a DVD, you need an application, try this search:

When im typing on the internet on a search bar like anywhere(myspace,google,etc.) a little whit box dropped down automatically, it said the history of what i had typed in that box in the past.It was like a little history box. It was realli helpful but my computer just got redone and the little box doesnt come down anymore

people can't see clearly through water without goggles, our eyes can't function properly without air. If you just want to open your eyes under water then practice doing it all the time and you'll get used to it. It's the chlorine that hurts, so try it in a fresh water lake(though if you're in the northern hemisphere it might be a bit cold this time of year). If you want to get good at swimming do it often. I know xoxo stands for hugs and kisses and ive heard the o is for hugs and the x is for kissez but why?

I have a silly problem. It's my mother and her insipid e-mails. She forwards me all of this junk. I don't really care about the cute, cuddly pictures of kitties and bunnies. It's the political stuff that annoys me. We do not have the same political views and she is WELL aware of this. She sends me e-mails (the ones that say if you agree that communists are inviting Castro to take over the Supreme Court, forward this to 500 people immediately and if you don't, you
don't love Jesus and you need to move to France with the whole A.C.L.U.) touting political, social, and religious views I vehemently disagree with and which provoke argumentative feelings in me. I'd really love to reply to them and tell her
why it's just [baloney]. I have tried using it as a start to a serious, but civil discussion. She gets offended. I have repeatedly asked her to stop sending me this stuff. Her reply is that I can just delete them and that I should just do the "Christian" thing and ignore them. Well, it's about a weekly occurrence that I get something from her that sets me on fire, even though I have
told her point-blank that it offends me.
It's to the point where I feel like replying to each with a baudy snippet from a gay sex columnist or an article from The Onion or even a page from NARAL (abortion rights) just so she can see what it's like to be irritated by this stuff. I feel like she doesn't care or doesn't respect who I am when she does this. Another thing I've thought of is just simply blocking her e-mails. Maybe I should just chill out because she's the only mother I'll ever have and I do love her. It's just hard because I've never felt like I belonged in my family (I like to joke that I'm a white sheep in a flock of black ones) and these e-mails seem to emphasize the point.

I'd start with sending opposing opinions, but don't do it just to annoy her, do it to get her to understand your views(even if she disagrees). If she reacts really bad about that then just block her. If she has something important to say she'll say it to you in person.

When I go to my column settings it wont let me change my colors or backround. Theres not butten to enter it for the backround URl. So how do I make it go on ??
-If you want a color background, enter the hexadecimal color code in the "page background color" box. The format is "#RRGGBB" where R=red, G=green, and B=blue. In hexadecimal numbers go beyond 9, up to 15. So A=10, F=15. So #AA0000 would be dark red, since the value for red is AA(10,10). #AAAA00 would be yellow, since red and green make yellow.
-If you want a picture background, upload your image to a place like http://imageshack.us/. Then put the URL it gives you in the "page background image(URL)" box.

is there anywhere were you can make your oun website for free? ive googled it but all of them theres a hosting sight, so instead of www.love.com or whatever, its www.love.wetpaint.com and i was wondering if theres anywhere without the "wetpaint" part at the end? that will just let you leave it? or do you need to pay for it? if you do where is the cheapest place to get it?
You need both a HOST and a DOMAIN NAME REGISTRAR. So once you get your site hosted and are at love.wetpaint.com(or whatever), find out what kind of TLD(top level domain) you want. Such as:

All of those cost money. All domain registrars suck, so just find a random one and hope it doesn't suck as much.
