Free websites
is there anywhere were you can make your oun website for free? ive googled it but all of them theres a hosting sight, so instead of www.love.com or whatever, its www.love.wetpaint.com and i was wondering if theres anywhere without the "wetpaint" part at the end? that will just let you leave it? or do you need to pay for it? if you do where is the cheapest place to get it?

you can get them without paying but you have to get hosted.
some sites may require paying but i wouldnt do that
if you want one for free, you have to like apply at a site where you will be DOMAINNAME.SITENAME.com/org/net
but if you want your own .net/.com/.org you must pay.

You need both a HOST and a DOMAIN NAME REGISTRAR. So once you get your site hosted and are at love.wetpaint.com(or whatever), find out what kind of TLD(top level domain) you want. Such as:
.com
.net
.org
All of those cost money. All domain registrars suck, so just find a random one and hope it doesn't suck as much.
some countries offer free ccTLD(country code top level domain). These are

All of these ccTLDs have advertisements put on your site. The .tt domain has an option, hidden in all their menus, to turn off the advertisements. After you have the domain, you must either direct your domain account to point to the hosted site(love.wetpaint.com) or point the domain name to the host's nameserver(usually only paid hosts have these).
