my left eye keeps twitching. if i keep my eye closed for awhile, then open it, it does it even more. does anyone know why this is happening?

The muscles in your eyes might be tired. Make sure you get enough rest. Sensitivity to external stimuli might also cause the problem. Check changes in light levels and any chemicals in the area that might be irritating.

If you're sure that you get enough rest and there isn't anything around that's likely to have caused it, you should get help from a professional.

sometimes i get the same problem where it will keep twitching for a long time... then one week just stop... its never bad for me but when i close it than open it i have the same problem... do you get migranes? because i do and i get them when i might have a migrane. im not sure how to control them though but i think more exercise and rest helps me.

Besides being annoying it's nothing to worry about and will usually go away on its own. There's medicine to make it stop, but they only give it to you if your eye's been twitching for a long time. There's nothing else you can do besides wait.
