go to http://www.joynic.com and register a domain. Have it point to your column. Then go and turn off the advertisments(it's somewhere in the menus, I forgot where). Then tell all your friends your new, easy to remember domain name. Post about it online. Eventually people will start going to it. There's no way to put advertisments anywhere without paying, though.

i have netscape 8.1, and lately its been freezing up a lot. the whole web browser goes white, and then i have to drop it down and wait a while, then bring it back up and it works again, but its extremely annoying. is there something wrong with 8.1? or is there something i can do to fix it? because i know its not my computer, because i can do other stuff on my computer when netscape freezes. thanks!
Netscape uses a lot of RAM and it's unstable. I did a scientific comparison of all the popular browsers, and netscape performed the worst of all of them in RAM. You should get a better browser, my comparison might help you:

i just downloaded netscape 7.2. it wont let me see peoples myspace pages. whenever i click on someones profile, an error message comes up that says "the plugin performed an illegal operation. you are strongly reccommended to restart browser" and then it closes. why is this? and is there a way to fix it? thanksss!
netscape uses an old version of the gecko layout engine, which causes those errors. You should upgrade to either a newer version of netscape, or a browser like k-meleon or firefox. Here is my comparison of free browsers:

I'm reading this one book called the Scarlet Letterman and it's by Cara Lockwood, but apparantly there is also another book in the series that I haven't read called Wuthering High by the same author. My computer is infected by a trojan virus that came in through a video off the internet. I know where the file is and everything but it won't let me delete it saying that another program or person is using the file and won't delete. I use Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security and attempts to clean and quarentine the virus failed. The file is a Video AudioX Object. I dunno how to get rid of this virus if anyone has any ideas please let me know I want to get rid of it as fast as possible. thanks.
I can help you more if you send me a personal question with more info, including the name of the file. If you're going to send me a personal question, don't use the method I describe below. If you just delete the file outright, like I tell you how to do below, it could make it worse.
Make note of where the file that you want to delete is. Turn off your computer. Turn it on and immediately press and hold F8(if it doesn't work the first time, wait longer before you start holding F8). You'll eventually get a menu. Select "safe mode with command line" using the arrow keys, and press enter. Some text will go on the screen and after a while(sometimes up to 20 minutes), you'll get a login screen. Log into your user account. You'll get a command prompt(C:\>)
Type this in:
del /F "C:\wherever the trojan is"
and press enter. If it asks for confirmation, type y and press enter. Make sure you put "quotes" around the filename. Make sure you use the backward\slash, not the forward/slash.

how do you save like my videos on to like a DVD+R? i need to send it in for a university application but i can only figure out how to save to a CD-R. It won't let me do the other one.

You need a DVD burner to do that. A CD burner won't work. If you have a DVD burner, use a program like cd burner xp pro to burn the files:

From my experience, it's very difficult to create a disk that will play in a DVD player. You need all kinds of programs to get it in the right format, then onto the DVD, and then it sometimes doesn't play and it's always of poor quality. So unless you absolutely have to have it play in a DVD player, just put the files on the disk so they can be played on a computer.

Downloading movies using bearshare isn't legal unless you paid for the movie. It also uses the exact same network as limewire, so it's the same speed with the same files. It's pretty much the exact same thing.

i personally dont see what is so bad about drugs! maruana(sp) and weed and everything. i would never try it because my parents would freak out, but why is it illegal? all it really does is make you high, which is exactly what alchahol does! if drugs are illegal, alchahol should be aalso!w/ what is the difference? someone please explain to me and why drugs are so bad?
There is no difference. Marijuana is actually healthier than tobacco, and it's much less likely to cause cancer. The reason it is illegal in most countries is because it's thought to be a "gateway drug", leading to use of other illicit drugs that *are* harmful. There's evidence supporting the theory of it being a gateway drug, and there's evidence contradicting it. In my opinion the reason it's a gateway drug is because it's illegal, and so the same people that sell it sell other drugs. There has never been a death from using marijuana, and it's perfectly safe to use. Just avoid doing anything potentially dangerous, like driving.

I opened up a word document just a little while ago, and i couldn't make any changes to it. On the bottom left hand screen, it says that the document is locked.
i've gone to the Microsoft word help section to try to unlock it, but it doesn't tell me how to.
So, how do i unlock the documents? I'm the only one usnig this computer, and i have no idea how it even happened. Help, please?

Hi, I'm a 14 year old girl in Junior High. Today, I was called down to the office and accused of doing drugs. (Which I DON'T.) The guidance counselor and vice principal then practically strip searched me, made me empty my bag, take off my shoes, and then they called down a nurse to give me an eye test, take my blood pressure and listen to my heart to determine if I was high. Their reason behind all of this? Apparently earlier, a girl whos name they "could not tell me" told the office that "I was seen in the bathroom with a tube of white powder." I had been in the bathroom, but I had absolutely NO tube shaped items or any item, not even any makeup with me, that looked like powder.
My mom and I are thinking of suing the school district. Do you think that this is a violation of my rights? I do not think they should of searched me just because some random girl TOLD them that. Obviously she was lying. Do you think this is enough to bring forth a lawsuit against the school?
Probably not. While you are at school, the school can act as your parent. That means they can search your stuff. If you would have refused to give them your stuff, and then they took it from you by force, then you might be able to sue.

I want to download this pretty font called Violation but I need winzip and I don't like downloading fonts that need winzip because winzip will pop up every time you use it, I need it to be True Type but every fotn I come across needs winzip.

You use winzip to extract the truetype font. The truetype font is inside of the zip/rar/ace file. If you don't like winzip, use 7-zip, which is free and not annoying:
