I have a religion project due soon. I'm soo stumped on the part about Daniel. I did the majority of the project, I just need to know:

1. Under what circumstances was the Book of Daniel written? By whom? For whom?

2. Discuss the contents of the Book of Daniel: (a) the stories found in chapters 1 - 6 and (b) the visions in chapters 7 - 12.

3. The Book of Daniel is an example of apocalyptic literature. What are the characteristics of apocalyptic literature in general?
