It's hard breaking that habit. Try gradually speaking up. Challenge yourself to do it like three times a day and gradually build up. In the end you'll be more comfortable with it and you might enjoy it too!!!

I'm not a guy, but maybe i can help. Try being honest with him for starters. Sit him down and bring up how you've been feeling. Something might really be up and he doesn't have a lot of time. So don't be accusing of him. Just ask him what's up lately ya know??? It'll work out!!!

Way too many guys like one of my best friends. It's just so annoying how many boys like her, and the ONE person I like likes her too which really sucks because whenever we all hang out together he doesn't even notice me. IM NOT JEALOUS! It just bothers me, and sometimes if I tell her that someone else likes her she'll be like who doesn't? Or something like that and it's just soo annoying. What should I do?

Sounds like your friend is really full of herself. So don't think much of it when she starts annoying you. About this guy. Try talking to him more and showing him who you are instead of letting him hang all over your friend. Good luck!!!

Don't be nervous!!! Worrying never helps, trust me on that one!!! First of all, relax and be yourself. People will love you for who you are. You don't have to put on a show to get a good reputation and good friends. Just have fun and go with it!!! It'll work out, you'll see.

Try calling them Mr. and Mrs. and see how they respond. If they tell you to call them something different then do that. But for now i would be respectful and go with Mr. and Mrs.

Go to a doctor so they can prescribe some medicine for you. Usually you can do all you can at home to help prevent it from getting worse, but you really need some medicine to make it go away!!!

My brother is forced to move to Hawaii on tuesday for 3 years cause of military orders. he isn't able to take the dog with him because of the rabie policy in Hawaii and the money issue of getting the dog tested(my parents won't let my brother borrow money.). He asked everyone he knew to take care of the dog but they all said no. I wanted to take care of the dog but my parents told me and my brother that they hate animals and that I won't be able to concentrate in school and that school is my top priority. I've tried talking to my parents about it but they always get pissed off and yell at me. So my brother has no choice but to send him to the animal shelter. How can I persuade my parents to let me keep the dog? (link)

First of all, let your parents cool off before asking them again. Then sit both of them down and slowly bring up the subject. Have facts ready to support your idea and that will show that you are responsible enough to handle it. Hopefully you're parents will consider it. Just give them some time before you do all that. I think that a guy should like a girl for WHO THEY ARE. Looks are only skin deep. Like somebody for the personality and who they truly are!!! You'll probably end up with a much better person in the end that way. And girls dont really like guys who go on looks. Seems kinda shallow.

Urghh okay... well there is this boy (lets just call him Ben) and i mean i always go on and off liking him .. we already went out once and we both were invited to a pool party yesterday and we were there with a lot of our other friends and me and him were swimming together and then we both went underwater and our eyes were open and he kissed me UNDERWATER!! ya weird but w/e and then that night i had basketball practice and my friend Britney (she likes Ben) came up to me and was like "omg today in the pool i was hugging ben and he was like 'Britney, i really really like u a lot'" and i mean nobody really knows that i like ben besides my best friend but im just so confused because he kissed me and then told her he really liked her?.. that doesnt make sence.. please help! Sounds like this guy might be a player. If he kissed you and then told Britney he liked her, sounds like the guy is dishonest. You might try just sitting him down and talking to him. Can't hurt!!! You deserve to know what's really going on if you want a relationship with him. But before you two DO get hooked up,think about this guy who is has already two-timed you. You deserve much BETTER!!!

Okay, so it all started last year at cheerleading camp. The captain of our squad is fucking hot. The thing is, I kinda think I have feelings for her. I try not to think about her but I cant get my mind off of her. I heard from a few people that she's a bi, so that means i've got a chance. I'm really nervous to talk to her what should i say? Well last year i had the same problem with one of my close friends. (i'm not bi as of right now) Things didn't work out for us though and in a way i'm thankful. Before doing ANYTHING, really ask yourself if you're gay or not. Sometimes people base their life long decision on how they feel about one person. Don't make that mistake. It's better to take it slow. Give guys a chance too!!!

I know a website like something called christianpenpals.com There are different areas for writing by letter, email, and stuff like that. I would suggest doing that. It's a great website and a lot of people use it from all over the world. Even in Africa and Asia.

I have that problem sometimes too. I ended up joining a chat room for teens and met a few really nice people. I would suggest doing that. There are also sites for penpals that are great for one on one with people from all over the world.

okay so its summer and im really not in shape anymore. well cheerleading starts august 15th, what do you guys think i can do to get myself back in shape before then becuase the first 2 weeks are all condtioning and those practices are from 9-11 and 12-230..which is a long time and i dont want to be hurting bad after the first day because im so out of shape. any suggestions??..thanks a bunch.. ill rate high! Whenever you start working out again, you have to start slow so dont push it for the first few days!!! Start running some and build it up a little each day. Stay consistent with it. Do some crunches, pushups and stuff like that. Keep doing more each day and you'll be surprised with how conditioned you'll end up being before cheerleading even starts!!!

I've been getting my period for close to 5 years now and the first 4 years I had it, it was completely regular. I'd get it exactly every 29 or 30 days, so If I didn't get it on the 29th day, it would be the day after. Starting in about March of this year, it was completely irregular. Normally I'd be prepared about when I'd get it, but I'd go to the bathroom 2 weeks after my last period and I started bleeding again. Then for 2 months it would come exactly on the 22nd. After I had a pregnancy scare, it's been coming whenever the hell it feels like it. I am now (according to my 29 day cycle) 5 or 6 days late. The last time I was sexually active was a week BEFORE my last period, and I did get my period that time. But I'm just trying to figure out what the hell is up with it! It's so frustrating! I will PMS for over 2 weeks and still no sign of my period! Does anyone have suggestions on what to do? (link)

Sometimes your cycle can be irregular till you're a lot older. Takes a while for it to be consistent for long periods of time. Don't think much about it. But if you need reassurance, maybe take a pregnancy test. Can't hurt if you really need assurance about it. Also taking birth control doesn't always help so i would always prefer sex after marriage. Just dont worry and it'll work out!!!

I think your dream was just a coincidence. Don't make something out of it that you're not supposed to. Your dream could have been a result from something you watched or read lately. The timing just happened to be that day. Ironic yes, but pure coincidental.

First of all, people change. Sometimes for good and sometimes for the bad. Sounds like this friend was nice but has changed. If you feel like how she's acting is not worth saving a friendship then maybe you should talk to her one last time about what she's doing and how it's wrong. Most likely if she has really changed she'll get mad at you and your friendship will end. But at least you'll be doing what's right. Try making some more sincere friends. Good luck!!!

First of all, give her some time and a little breathing room. Takes time for people to get over things. Don't get me wrong, telling people you love them is awesome and i do it myself. (i too am a girl). When i tell my friends that i love them they know that i mean as friends and they can respond in the same way. After giving her some time, try calling again and simply explaining. Just be patient and it'll work out!!!

First of all, dont change your appearance for other people. Stay true to yourself!!! It's cool to wanna go up socially just don't force it too fast. Take things as they come. And for a boyfriend, start by getting a few really close guy friends. Things will probably go from there. And just because you change your hair style or clothes doesn't mean you're going to be a slut!!! It depends on what you change it into!!! As long as you dont want to become a slut, chances are you wont!!!

My boyfriend & I haven't really talked about the subject of "love". We've known eachother a while & we were friends prior to dating & I think I love him. I know 13 is young so I'm not sure. Is there anyway to bring it up to him? Will it just come up in a conversation one day? There have been certain things he's said that leads to me thinking that. For example, we got into this big fight (just a few weeks ago ... yes, we were dating) & I said "Do you hate me?" and he said "no, the exact opposite... do you feel the same way?" and I said "ya." Well 13 is a young age for love but love is of the heart that doesn't know your age. Sounds to me that when he said ,"no, the exact opposite" that he was talking about love. If y'alls relationship is still going pretty good, i think you should bring it up. It can't hurt and if he says yes it will most likely bring y'all closer together. Just go for it and you'll be fine!!!
