Why is it that when your emo/rock/punk/gothic or whatever that people call you fake when you wear something that's like pink or from the mall? Isn't the whole point of being emo and stuff to be original?

Most people just see the image of emo or goth as wearing black and being kind of creepy lol and are too nieve to see its being an original and expressing yourself.

theres this girl, lets call her...ariella. shes beautiful, funny, nice...almost seems perfect. but i'm not friends with her at all. she's in my classes but we never talk. she's not in my range at all, and i would never dream of asking her out. how do i be just friends with her...13/m

Just because you may not be the most handsome doesnt mean she's a shallow girl. I would suggest telling her how you feel about her and how you think she's almost perfect and beautiful and stuff and if she's actually worth this she'll go out with you.

Right, my best friend is usually really nice, but recently she keeps putting me down, mostly about things that arent even true. She keeps pointing out people and saying they're taller than me and teasing me about my 'frizzy' hair. Shes even started being mean about the things i like. Like my big eyes she says are weird and the other day she said "I like my tummy better than yours" and i really like my toned tummy. Even though most of it isnt true, its really getting me down. What should i do? Please do not tell me to talk to her about it because she would just tell me i'm being stressy.

Your friend probably does this because she is insecure about herself and possibly is jelous of what you have and what she doesn't so she's trying every way possible to make herself feel like she's better than you. Well you've got to decide if she's worth putting up with that crap or otherwise talk to her and tell her how u feel, and if she doesnt stop you guys are over as friends.

How can yu get past being jealous? My best friend just got a bf and hes super awesome, and im jealous cus ive never had a bf. Im happy for her, i really am. How can I get my mind off it, and stop being jealous?

i'm 14 and i'm always exhausted!! everyday i want to come home && take a nap, but i'm not aloud.

also i've had a headache since feb 12th & its horrible!

i've had a histroy with headaches & had many tests.

any possible things you can say? blood test be good?

& alot of times i'm so tired and i want sleep so bad, i take 2 tylenol pm to get to sleep. i'm affriad i wo'nt get enough slepe so i take it to fall asleep

Well, do you eat enough food or the right kind of food? are u active enough? Sometimes yur body's tired because you havent been active enough so it's used to less activity and tires quickly and sometimes depending on the food u intake it could make you tired because you arent getting the nutrients you need.

I am in desperate need of some advice. My girlfriend, I am so worried about her. She is always saying how fat she is, and she is not. But I know every girl says that, but she is going to the extrememe and it is stressing her out so much. She is trying to become anorexic again, and I just don't know what to do to help her realize that she is the most beautiful girl to walk this planet, and that she is not fat...I tell her that every single day...and she still is like this...I am so worried, please some advice on something I can do to help her understand that she is beautiful..

hmm..ok well you will have yur arms around his neck and he will have his arms on yur waste and u kind of sway backand forth. It depends with the guy if you look in his eyes if he's nervous or uncomfortable he'll prolly try to avoid eye contact but if he's looking in yur eyes I'd look in his too lol well hope that helped.

my mom made me break up with my boyfriend just recently.I did what was told,but my mom still thinks we are going out.my mom makes me use the phone in the living room or let her listen on the other line.I have no privacy.How do I get more privacy?why is she doing this when I did what I was suppose to?

Sounds like what my mom is doing to me, she is just trying to protect you but is pretty much screwing up yur current life in the process. Well I'd just sit down and talk to her and tell her calmly and resonably you did what she asked and then ask her to trust you because you havent done anything wrong. umm hope that helps!

I think i may have OCD. (obsessive compulsive disorder). I seem to have like scary and gross thoughts and images in my head that I cant make go away and i get like obsessed over it and I cant concentrate. Another thing is I wont eat food thats over 4 days old even if it doesnt get old for another month. No madder what. Another thing is everything has to be clean. As in washed. Like my bes sheats. If they're not I cant sleep in them. Like ill obeses and I cant even sleep, or I wont sleep at all. There are so many things that I obsess over, and I get stressed over. Its so weird. I can name other things but does this seem like OCD to you?

Yeah it does sound like you do. I have OCD you can get on meds for this or you can try and fight it. Like when you get that craving {kinda feels like a force trying to make you do something} to make sure everythings clean try to fight it and dont let it control you, but if you really think you cant I would ask your mom to take you to get tested for sure and get meds. I am thinking about trying out for fastpitch (softball). I'm really good at fielding. I was on the slowpitch team. But, I absolutely cannot hit fastpitch!! Can anyone give me tips on how to help hitting? By the way, I play basketball that's why I have to try-out so late. By the way, if you could, try not to suggest go to a batting cage. Because I live in Mississippi, the part affected by Katrina, and I'm not sure of many batting cages that are open.

Turn yur hand over more when you swing {the right for right handers and left for left hander}it brings up yur speed and allows you to make contact with the wood of the bat and keep yur eye on the ball, and when you see the ball leave the pitches hand, swing. When you do get on a team watch others bat before you to try and time the pitchers speed. hope that helped!!!!!

Well..I'll just say what guys have done for me to get me, they give me compliments how they say i'm gorgeous or i have a great personality, and one thing about it is u have to mean these things you say because if you go around saying this to every girl it wont mean anything and the girl you eventually want wont want you. But thats besides the point, make her feel special, make her feel beautiful even when she looks like crap. DO NOT BE CRITICAL, and when she is dissing herself dont agree but do say something so she doesnt feel like shes right. Make it known that you like her. If you do hug her often like a friend wise hug her like you need her. Take her places and actually get the nerve to ask her out even if you dont know if she likes you so it shows you are brave and worth her time. sorry this is all i got well hope it helps and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

I'm always tired. Even when I get 8+ hours of sleep. What's wrong with me?
It's hard to do something when all day I feel like I'm going to pass out on my desk.

Try doing more during the day because lack of activity can cause you to be lazy and tired more often. Or, go to the doctor and get your blood tested for low iron/enemic, and if so get on an iron suppliment, it takes time if you do have low iron to get your energy back, same thing happened to me! But my new boyfriend i always fell uncomfortable and my heart always beats REALLY fast. I think the reason you could kiss your old bf and not him is because you really like your new bf and so your really self-conscious if you do something wrong. Maybe you should try being around your new bf more so you can get comfortable with him like he is with you. There is a guy named John I recently met who has really taken a liking to me. We've gone on a couple of dates, we get along well and I know that he'd probably be very good for me, but of course, I'm still hung up on my ex, Tom. What's more, Tom and I are still kind of seeing each other, too. We've decided to just go with the flow and seeing what happens, rather than just jump back into something or decide against it.

I made this clear to John on our first date so that I would not be maliciously leading him on. This didn't change John's stance at all and he still seems to want to pursue me. Even though I've told John everything, am I still leading him on by talking to him on the phone and texting him a lot? John and I haven't even so much as kissed but I still want to be careful about this.

No, you arent leading him on at all you told him about you and your ex and he still wants to go out with you so he's perfectly aware what your doing and he seams to really want you bad if he still is trying to pursuade you.
