I did this summer camp last year for kids from 5th to 12th grade last year and it was really fun. We did Anything Goes! Anyway, this year, the director wants to do High School Musical *gag*. The thing is not many guys are doing the camp, and most of them are like in 7th grade and can't sing that well. Are there any good musicals that we could do for middle school kids? Please don't say Seusical the Musical or Oklahoma, because the director JUST did those 2 shows at his school.

i just transfer from privite school back to public, but all my grades went from Bs to C's. now my mom is telling me if i dont pull them up i have to go back to privite school. but ive been recently reading The it girl novel, about a girl going to boarding school. & now ive been thinking if id rather go to boarding school. oh by the way, im in high school 9th grade. but does anyone know any good/fun boarding schools? (doesnt matter where they are located.) and does anyone know if boarding school would be good for me? im a average student, if i dont study for a test i fail.

I just want to point out that the way that things are played out in books are not necessarily how it is in real life.

I should have known that you would want something like iCarly, so sorry that it didn't answer your question, but it is possible to have a web show without it being on a website.

Anyways, you can go to freewebs.com and make your own website [for free, hence the name], and on Youtube, there should be a code under a title that says 'Embed' [right underneath the description of the video]. You copy that code, and when you go to edit your website on freewebs.com, you just paste that code, and your video will appear on the web page.

Freewebs is really easy, and it even gives you some templates to start off with, all you do is type, and it customizes the font and colors and everything for you.

so right now i wear glasses. as in 24/7 :P
but i find that, wearing glasses make my eyes worser. and i hate the way i look in glasses. and i do not want to live the rest of my life with glasses.. :( and i currently go to school but in the summer im gonna try to get used to contacts.

1) are contacts hard to get used to ?

I personally prefer contacts over glasses. They're much more comfortable, and you can't really 'lose' your contacts once they're in your eye as opposed to glasses.

The kind that I have are Acuvue Optix [something along the lines of that], and I'm actually able to sleep with mine, but I have to clean them ever so often.

1] Contacts are not hard to get used to, at all. Trust me when I say this, but I get really freaked out when I have something close to my eye [like a mascara brush], but my optometrist actually took out her contacts and showed me how to put them in. Pretty soon, you will develop your own technique of easily putting in your contact.

2] No, you only wear one or the other. It is not necessary to wear both at the same time, and actually, it could possibly lead to worsening your eye sight if both were worn together.

How about Youtube?

All you need is a decent video camera, a tripod [to balance the camera on], and maybe your friend to do it with you. You don't even need a tripod, maybe just a high table/counter. Make sure to have decent lighting, too.

The title can be as simple as [Your Name]'s Web Show.

Film daily or weekly web shows.

Start out small and work your way up.

A way to get effective OTC medication is to go to your Walmart/CVS/Target/ect. Pharmacy and ask for wart removal products.

I wouldn't do anything yet, because I'm sure that this is all very overwhelming for him. Don't make a card, and don't try to reach out to him YET. I don't know if he's the type that needs comfort immediately, or if he's the type that distances himself from everyone else and goes into a state of isolation.

No patch, pill, cream, or tea will help you lose weight permanently. The weight that you lose is only temporary [about 1-2 weeks] and is easily regained within a short period of time. The only way to lose weight permanently is by good ol' fashioned diet and exercise. Start cutting back on your sugar/fat/carbs intake, lessen your portions, and fit in 30 minutes of exercise every day at the least. It's not that hard, you just need motivation to keep going.

I live in a dorm at my university, and I live next to a girl that I absolutely cannot stand. Last semester, my roommate and I noticed that no one was being very nice to this girl (who we'll call Bertha). So, we decided that instead of being mean and nasty to her, we'd try to be nice so that she felt welcome on our floor. Oh boy, was that a mistake. When Bertha's roommate moved out, she became like a parasite in our room, always there, no matter what. She never leaves, and even asks to stay in our room when we aren't there. Bertha has several rude and annoying habits as well, such as farting, burping, spilling things all over our room and refusing to clean them up, talking over our t.v. shows and eating our food without permission. We've asked her to leave repeatedly, and she just ignores us. We've even stopped being friendly to her, but she just won't go away! I've already had to quit one of my activities because she constantly humiliated me there, and I'm at my wit's end. We're moving out next year, but I'm not sure I'll last until the end of the semester if I can't think of some really good ways to avoid her. Please help me!

my 28 year old sister just found out she is pregnant. she has a very healthy 5 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl. i think she only meant to have them and no more, so im sure this was an accident. however she is very excited and so are her kids =] the only thing im worried about is..she is a heavy smoker, and drinks often too. and..she smokes pot occasionally =[ shes not the best influence on her kids right now, but what im most worried about is that she wont be able to stop with the drugs now that she is pregnant. I know its addicting and hard to just..stop! but do you think the fact that she is pregnant might make her just stop? what do druggy people do when they get pregnant! im so worried she will continue this all, and have a baby with many issues. is this possible for her to stop and get healthy!?! i know everyone is different, but like what do most people do? thanks!

Yes, it is possible for her baby to be healthy, but she needs to stop RIGHT NOW. Explain to her that she can LOSE HER BABY if she continues to drink/smoke [pot]. She will not even have a baby with 'issues' to begin with, she will likely have a miscarriage.

You will see a few boxes with addresses inside of them, copy the address that says 'Direct Link for Layouts'.

okay so next year i'll be in tenth grade. i'm not like worrying about college but i'm just thinking about it and am curious/excited. so i was wondering what'd it take to get into a really good school like yale or princeton? i'm taking all honors classes next year except i'm in geometry like normal because i'm not very good at math. if i pull good grades in those and continue to take honors classes is that enough?

plus i'm in student council and i'm trying to get into newspaper. anything else i should do in extra curriculars?

or is it too early to prepare next year?

It sounds like you're off to a great start, just keep your honors classes and extra curriculars balanced, and it looks like you're already doing that. Continue to take Honors/AP classes, because they will increase your GPA [which is what colleges look at]. They also look at extra curriculars, which you already are participating in. Do not overdo the amount of EC's, I think what you have right now is perfect. It's NEVER too early to be preparing for college.

Keep in mind, though, that tuition for Ivy League is incredibly high. Yes, the government will most likely provide financial aid by the time you head off to college, so unless you will be receiving a scholarship, you will need to find a way to pay for tuition.
