The name is Leah. I live in Cincinnati, OH. I really love to give advice! I have been here since November of 2004. But prior to joining here, I was always been seeked for advice. Still to this day, my primary concern is always helping someone out in need.

I am likely not the best columnist here, but I can quarantee I am very dedicated and concerned when I answer a question. If I answer a question you're not satisfied with, I will ask why, so I can try my best to change my answer. I only give people information that I know; not information that I might know. And if I notice a columnist giving you a wrong answer, you'll know I'll be correcting their response!!

Where can I find a code to put my 'Comments' in 'Scroll boxes'

Go to www.eatcrack.com and click on HTML codes.. there you'll find a list of codes and one of them will give you the code to put your comments in a scrollbox.

Make sure you put that code on the bottom of "Who I'd Like to Meet" section, or else it won't work properly.

From my experience, a Gynecologist will ask you questions, to see what are the problems you are experiencing, and the reason why you came. If you are sexually active, they will give you a Pap Smear. What that is, is they check your vagina basically. There is no real reason to if you are not sexually active, unless they really think it's necessary (though that is uncommon).

If needed, they'll prescribe medication to you if they find it necessary.

what exactly does it mean when someone says that their hair is greasy?

Somewhat what the columnist below said, but when someone has greasy hair, it does not necessarily mean they don't take care of their hair. Some people wash their hair several times a day and still have greasy hair. In a lot of cases, it is when it's unkempt or not taken care of regularly, but there are people out there who has it, and can't control it even after taking care of their hair correctly.

Greasy hair is also known as "oily hair", or hair that looks shiny, or that literally looks like someone dumped baby oil in their hair and left in in. It gives it a wet look somewhat.

Also, there are products out there called "hair oil" which can make someone's hair greasy. So there 3 main causes to oily hair.

on ebay/half.com do you know when the item you bought and you have shipping is suppost to arrive at your house??

It actually varies by the kind of shipping it was included with.

If it said "Media mail" it will probably take a week or two. Media mail is one of the slowest types of mail.

If it's UPS or ground shipping, it will take much faster, like from a few days to a week.

When you buy something they tell you what kind of shipping it uses.

If you do now get your order within two weeks, contact the seller for a refund or contact ebay/half.com to help you out.

How do I change my font? Like Verdana, Shruti etc. And how do I make it bold or larger? I've seen people do it in columns so I know there's a way, anyone know it?

It's easy to do. And I don't think you download it from what the other person said. They're codes you can easily Type up.

To make font bold, start it with < B > (exclude spaces) and end the bold with < / B >.

To make it look cooler, if you want to do a strikeout, put < S > and end it with < / S >; or underline, put < U > and end it with < / U >.

If you want it huge, use the Headers. < H1 > for the biggest and < H6 > for the smallest. End it with < / H1 > or < / h6 >

To make it small you can do subscripts ( < sub >, < / sub > ) or superscripts ( < sup >, < / sup >.

To color it, use this code: < FONT COLOR = Color you want > and end it with < / FONT >.

If you want to change the font style, like change it from arial to verdana, put < FONT TYPE = "name" > and end it with < / FONT >

Remember to exclude the spaces

I ususally hate these kinds of questions, but this has been bugging the crud out of me lately! Does anyone remember a music video in ...the 90's maybe...or early 2000-2001 where it was a summer house party and there were a lot of people (older teenagers there) and they were by a pool. The main band member was going after this girl through the house that party was taking place. I remember it was a band like, blink 182 or good charlotte ...i'm not sure if it was one of them. The lead singer was blonde if that helps?

It sounds like "Boys and Girls" by Good Charlotte to me. In the beginning they sit by a pool next to a bunch of girls (maybe guys) or something.

I don't remember if he had blonde hair or not, so I couldn't give you that piece of information.

Also, another similar one would be "middle" by jimmy eat world like what the columnist said below. I think I can remember that as it took place by a pool and the lead singer had blonde hair. Again, another guess.

To keep it simple, if you want the redness to go down, apply Benzol Peroxide on the pimple. You can find that ingredient in Persa Gel, which is at any grocery store. Also, cleaning it daily with Salicylic Acid facial wash (found in Clean&clear, Clearasil, Neutrogena).

If you are unable to find these products, you can put toothpaste on the pimple for a few hours. Don't keep it on overnight or you'll dry it out and it'll become a sore. It's not the healthiest way to go but if you into desperation (you don't want to wait a few days), then try that.

HI! Last night my boyfriend fingered me. I have been fingered before but after last night it really hurts. He was very aggresive, I like that but my private still hurts. It looked like I might have bleed a little bit, what does this mean?

It's normal. Since he did it more aggressively than normal (I assume), it might just hurt for a day or two. And bleeding is normal, as well. Some times a little spotting will occur after some sexual activity. No big deal. =]

It's very easy to do, so you shouldn't have much of a problem doing it.

To place a caption at the bottom of a picture, use this code: < IMG SRC = "PICTURE URL" > (exclude all spaces).

To make a link for an image, sign up for Image Shack, or PhotoBucket -- whichever you choose -- it'll work both ways. You upload pictures, and you copy the "URL" it has listed. If you already made an account, you're good-to-go to put the Url where it says "PICTURE URL" and insert it.

Just keep in mind you have limited space for the caption box (if using Myspace) so you probably won't be able to stick them all in.

Just remember from the codes given, exclude the spaces, so the codes will show up on here, and always end the code. Otherwise, you will mess up your profile.

i only poop like once a week and it makes me feel fat and bloated and sick and huge all week long. i eat pretty healthy. no junk food, no soda, no fast food, at least one piece of fruit a day, etc. how can i poop more often? what could i be missing from my diet that's making me never poop like ever? what can i do?

Usually when people are having trouble pooping, it is caused by lack of hydration or fiber. Like the other columnnist said, drink plenty of water. Also, go on a fiber diet, and see what happens. Fiber basically cleans out your immune system (like water similarly does), and literally "cleans you out".

You can also go with laxatives. If all fails, go to that, and try it. It is a little extreme, so I best prefer going on a fiber diet.

High in fiber: vegetables, baked beans (it's so HIGH in fiber, that's why you pass gas so easily from it ;]), and some grains.

Try it out for a week or too. If you are still having problems, see a Doctor.

i know how to put in an image for the background for a website but, how do you make it stay still? i have stripes as the background and i dont like it to move with the text. thanks.

In the background properties section of your website code, is there a spot where it says "background-attachment:"? If so, next to the colon, put "fixed" and it keeps the background in place. If not, add that to your background settings "background-attachment: fixed;" and that should help.

Also, to make it more aligned, you can make a setting to align in the center, or bottom right, for example. "background-position:bottom right;"

I added that because some times when you do put the background in "fixed" mode, it some times aligns to top center or bottom left, and you probably want it to align center to make it look balanced.

A lot of girls experience this. Just like the girl below said, you might not be cleaning yourself as well, so bacteria is starting to form. Hence a possible yeast infection. There are products out there you can try using before you can see a Doctor. Vagisil® has cream, wipes, and powder to relieve the burning and itching. It really helps! It contains aloe and vitamin E to soothe the irritation while the main ingredient in it (I forget what it's called) actually treats the burning and itching.

Try that out for a week or two. If you are still experiencing problems, it could be a yeast infection. "Monistat®" is an OTC cream with a pill you can take to treat the yeast infection. I am not a Doctor, nor do I know if what you have really is an infection, so before you take any yeast infection products such as Monistat®, see a Doctor. Your mom may need to know, whether you like to hear that or not, because taking Monistat® and not have a yeast infection could be bad. So first use the Vagisil® for awhile, and if you still experience persistent problems, talk to your mom to see a Doctor.

myspace isnt working at all. i put in my password and all that stuff and i try to log in, but it never goes to my home page. it just stays at the log in page. ive tried restarting my computer and everything like that... its not working!! helppp

It could be for two reasons:

1) Your cookies could be disabled. Enable them by switching them to the default setting. (Internet Options)

2) Myspace could be causing technical difficulties in certain servers. Give it a half hour and try again. Retarting your computer won't help it if it's in this situation.

If you experience more problems afterwards, contact Myspace.

ok so after you've given your life to him, and asked for forgivness, and decided to live your life for him, WHERE DO YOU GO? what do you do? how do you start living your new life? im confused :S

When I devoted my life to Christ, I was lost on where to go with this new life of mine, as well.

So to be brief, start praying. Buy a notebook, and jot down your prayers, so when a friend seeks you for advice and help, jot her down so you'll remember to pray for her the next time you pray. Really helps me!!

When you do pray, you don't have to make it an hour prayer. Make it brief but vague, and tell the Lord to bless the people you love, mention people who need His help, and talk about any problems that are happening in your life.

And keeping a small prayer diary really helps. Like if I am having a bad day, I write it down starting, "Dear Lord, I am having a bad day. Please help me get through this...... amen"

Go to church when you can. Do you have any friends that go to church? If so, talk to them about joining them. If not, then look up some good churches in your area. If you can't go to church, there are Christian channel(s) on TV you can watch every Sunday morning. I love it.

Also try finding if there is a Youth Group in your area. You hang out with kids your age, and you bond with not only to God, but you make new friends. Youth Group is very fun!! I love it. You also learn from the Bible, and you play activities that relate to God or the Christian/Catholic religion you are in.

Hi, can anyone help me, I'm turning 16 in a few months and I've never even been on a date!
I feel so pathetic, no boys ever even smiled at me!
I have loads of friends (mostly girls) and they tell
me I'm pretty, but I think they just feel sorry for me. Does anyone have any advice (I'm a girl by the way) even if I do get a boyfriend now, he'd probably be into much more serious stuff than I'm ready for.

Seriously don't worry about it because for everyone their "special someone" comes at different times in peoples' lives. For some, they come around in their teens, and some not until they hit 20. It does hurt feeling a little isolated about it. And it doesn't necessarily mean you are ugly. In fact it's great your friends tell you you're pretty. Good encouragement!! Keep that self-esteem up and you'll get a guy in no time.

But try socializing with guys more. It does seem awkward, believe me! But guys adore girls with high self-esteem, and feeling good about themselves. So talk to some guys, and look great.

And if you do a boyfriend soon, you say "he probably would be into much more serious stuff than I am ready for." That does happen in some cases, but if you are really interested in a relationship, you got to be ready for what the relationship gets into. In other words, be prepared for what's to come in a relationship. If a guy wants to do something you aren't comfortable with, he is not the guy for you. Settle with guys who you think are wonderful people, and get to know them more.

Don't give up because there's somebody out there for everyone! =]

Ok so I have never gotten armpit hair&yes I have already had my period but never any armpit hair. Is this weird? Or is anything wrong with me?

Completely normal!! In fact, be so freakin' grateful you don't have armpit hair! I actually thought I wouldn't because after I started my period and everything, no armpit hair from me was seen, until I hit like 14.

So for some it never grows, and some it takes awhile. Everyone's different. Lucky you, though. It's annoying shaving it off every day. Ha.

hey, well recently ive been experiencing blood in my underwear. this is about day 5 of it. no, its not my first period. that already happened for me. its not enough blood to be a regular monthly period, plus i already had that this month. i know that girls periods are irregular, but trust me, ive gotten my period two times in a month before and its nothing as little as this. im aware that you bleed from sex (im not sure how many days after it keeps bleeding), but im pretty sure that im a virgin unless i got raped in my sleep or something. the first day that this started i hadnt seen my boyfriend in about 4 days (i was in trouble). so im just wondering what are you advicenators imputs on this?

I get the same thing as well, and when I spoke to my Gynecologist, she said it's normal. It seems to me it's just spotting. Spotting can occur in any situation, at any time, no matter who you are. It some times means you are about to start your period again soon, or just got off, but a little came out after. And some times it's necessarily not related to your period. Spotting may happen if you are stressed out, and the lining in your uterus is messing up. Some times it happens when you take certain drugs. Birth Control, mainly. But either way, it's normal.

You can always use a pantiliner when you are off of your period, and you can use vaginal powder (Vagisal®), to block odor or to absorb some spotting and discharge to make you feel clean.

But if you are seeing heavy spotting, that could mean something completely different. I know you said no Doctor or Gynecologist for this, but if your spotting ever gets heavier, or you see suspicion of irregular spotting (like clumped up blood), really see a Doctor because that could be something serious.

Personally, I do adore average-looking, nice guys. Looks don't matter to me at all and I don't see any point in making it matter. In my opinion, looks prove nothing about you. Many people can debate this but I could care less. A nice guy would definately win my heart!

well i REALLY want to dye my hair.but my mom says im not old enough (im almost 13) and how can i convince her to let me dye it? like i think she MITE let me get it done for my b-day but i dont think thts gonna happen.

First try convincing her to just try temporary dye that lasts for 8-10 shampoos. Completely temporary and washable. Also try using a reasonable, natural color such as blonde, brown, or maybe to highlights.

If she doesn't approve of the color, you can easily wash it off using shampoo and water. Then you can try another color. It's harmless, and ammonia-free. Nothing toxic inside. Loreal makes it and they have good natural colors. Some are extreme, but they offer natural colors, too.

If she still does not approve, ask about temporary hair spray that colors your hair, and washes off within one wash using shampoo. Completely safe to use, and I personlly think it to be risk-free. It will not damage your hair at all.
