To keep it simple, if you want the redness to go down, apply Benzol Peroxide on the pimple. You can find that ingredient in Persa Gel, which is at any grocery store. Also, cleaning it daily with Salicylic Acid facial wash (found in Clean&clear, Clearasil, Neutrogena).
If you are unable to find these products, you can put toothpaste on the pimple for a few hours. Don't keep it on overnight or you'll dry it out and it'll become a sore. It's not the healthiest way to go but if you into desperation (you don't want to wait a few days), then try that.
