Hi, I'm Emily. Call me Emily or Em, I prefer either. I have been a featured columnist 2 times now. After disabling my account I had about 3 years ago, a lot has happened which made me want to come back. I feel as though helping people with their problems, helps me solve mine, even if that doesn't make a lot of sense to any of you. Don't hesitate to ask me anything, I will answer fairly quickly depending on the question. If you want a hard-thought out answer, which is what I usually give, it may take a little longer- it benefits everyone in the long run.

How would my parents go about changing my godparents? The people they chose as me and my sisters godparents from the start have two bratty kids, are druggies, are divorced, are of a diffrent religion, and we have not seen them in over 4 years. The people they want as me and my sisters godparents now have three kids, the father has sadly died (we miss you!), DON'T do drugs, ARE of the same religion, we don't get together often because we live in diffrent states but my mom and the mom of that family are best friends! So is there anything legal or religious we have to do or whatever so that they are my godparents and the druggies arent?
godparents arent a legal/ religious thing. your parents discuss it with them before your born and make an agreement. theres no legal things involved. you can easily tell your current godparents that things arent working out and that your in the process of seeking out new ones. its really simple, and for once, no legal matters.

Ok so I live with my best friend, and for the most part she is a decent and good friend, but this girl is sooooo insanely attached to her boy friend. Let me start out by describing their relationship. They have been together for over 2 years and neither of them have ever been with anyone else. She drops everything for him all the time. She'll make plans with me and then not show up because he called and she 'forgot' our plans. She cry's if she cant see him for a day, she is constantly txting him, calls him for an hour every night. I live with her and we share a bed room and he is here almost everyday. I just feel like she puts him before her own life, and she's constantly upsetting our friendship because of him and I am at my wits end. I dont want to tell her 'Hey, your adicted to your boyfriend and I cannot stand that you put him before me all the time!' because this would end in an emotional spout. So please someone give me advice as to what to before I smother her in her sleep lol jk.
being a girl, i know how attached a girl can get to her boyfriend. its happened to the best of us. and you cant really understand it unless youve been through it. but, heres what ill tell ya.
you need to tell her straight up that its bothering you. dont wait too long or it may get to you too much and youll end up in a fight with her, which wont be too good since you guys live together. dont get a friend to do it either, she'll be even more mad that you did that. dont hide from the problem, you need to tell her yourself, and very soon.
tell her politely that its bothering you. something like "i really miss us hanging out like we used to, can we hangout just the 2 of us?" or "remember that time when (name a time when you guys had a lot of fun together), we need to do it again soon!" she'll realize she really misses you. or maybe you can even offer hanging out with her and her boyfriend. it will make both ends meet without making either of you upset.
ive been through this before and everything will work out for the best, i promise. just give it time and she'll eventually realize that she's treating her bestfriend badly.

How will I know if I won the Justin Bieber Christmas wish contest? The contest where you could choose between wining either a signed t-shirt, a signed CD, or two tickets to one of his concerts. It said that they would contact me in the new year to tell me whether I've won or not but they havent contacted me yet. When do you think they will?
just like you, im a huge justin bieber fan too, but unfortunetly didnt hear about this contest. but, since he has so many fans, the agencies have so many applicants to look over that its going to take time to let everyone know who won or not. its only been a few days of the new year, so wait a week or 2. if they dont contact you at all, im sure you can assume. but, just the fact that they have so many people who entered this contest that they simply need to have a lot of time to do this. but, they may contact you according to alphebetical order. just be patient.

i got to school that ends at 5 every day and i need a job.
babysitting is a really good option but besides thats what could i do for money?
i was in the same boat as you not too long ago. but lets just start off saying, you get out of school very late! heres what i would do. if your ever our shopping at a mall, look around at the stores that you would be interested in working in. stop in and ask them for an application. but, keep in mind that some stores, like hollister, abercrombie, etc... you need to be 16 to work there. make sure you ask them what the age requirement is. people under 18 are not allowed to work at restaurants because of the alcohol they serve.
hello, i have so many pimple like scars in my bikini line. i don't know how to get rid of them. i can't wear any bikini bottom because of that. are there ways to remove these, any home remedy also.
hey there. this has never happened to me personally, but i know some remedys that may work for you. mederma does work, but you have to use it for a while to see results. my bestfriend used it and she said the scars were gone by summer. for scars ive had, i put cocoa butter on them. you can buy a stick of it at the drug store. you put it on twice a day, morning and night may work good for you, and you should see results within 2-3 weeks.
