THE-RACK answered Monday January 4 2010, 3:03 pm: well damn you get out of skool very late. but usually teens dont get many hours anyway, ex. 16 year olds can work up to 3 to 4 hours on a school day (the law in RI) so you would get like 6-9. i would say definitely dont work at any fast food places like mcdonalds or taco bell etc, its greasy and hard work for little pay. You can try being a waitress or busboy for a real restaurant. ex. friendly's, ruby tuesday's, hooters.. and hooters is not what it sounds like, people think its just a bunch of hott girls with skimpy outfits, the outfits are decent and the restaurant is cool. supermarkets, definitely good for teens, or clothing stores at the mall or wherever. if you like arts and crafts, try stores like michaels, and joanne's. Basicly look into jobs and try to find something you will like, because having a miserable job just to make money sometimes is just not worth it. I suggest going to snagajob.com to look who is hiring in your local area. Hope I helped. [ THE-RACK's advice column | Ask THE-RACK A Question ]
