Hey! School will be starting soon and I want to start off a new year, fresh, organized, and fun. Mostly organized. Any tips? (link)

Fresh: make new friends. Lose old friends who are backstabbers. Like new people. Explore new things (new clubs, classes, sports, activities). Listen to different music. Become healthier by exercizing regularly and eating properly. Study in advance to avoid cramming.
Organized: go shopping for folders, pencil cases, dividers, and binders (this is the fun part!). Set aside each binder for each class you have. Label your dividers "Homework", "Notes", "Projects", "Tests", and "Worksheets" for each binder. Have extra dividers in case you need more. Set aside a time for you to study and do homework every day. Also set aside time for you to take a break and have fun. Keep a calendar in which you keep track of important reminders.
Fun: have something to do every weekend this year (shopping, movies, bowling, etc.). On weekdays, go outside when you finish your schoolwork. If it's raining, get on the computer (myspace, xanga, aim, e-mail). If it isn't, get out.

If you get anything, he will be happy. I'm a guy, and it doesn't matter what girls give their boyfriends. As long as it isn't a giftcard, money, or anything they definitely don't like (you shouldn't buy him a movie if you aren't sure that he would like it. Same with books and CD's).

Hyellah, Lindsey! Okay, Marissa is just a jerk. I mean she is mean to her mom all the time, she is obsessed with AJ, and she has icky hair. She shouldn't threaten to end your strong friendship. That's just plain rude! What I suggest is, she change her attitude toward her mom and think of others before herself. If not, the friendship is terminated.

Okay this is really embarassing....I went to the movies with my boyfriend last night and we decided to see Nacho Libre...well halfway through the movie I had drank a large soda and I really needed to go ut I didnt want to miss the movie. So then this really funny part happened and I laughed until I peed my pants...I was SO embarrassed and I couldnt get up because I was afraid he would notice to when we went to leave the movie I just rapped my jacket around my waist. On the car ride home he put his hand on my thigh and squeezed...I was so happy! I've never really be touched by a guy (I know I'm a weirdo) and I'm really excited and like a a crazzed fan touched by their hero I'm not sure if I want to wash the pants. I know its gross...but would it be too weird to not wash them and keep them for sentimental value? I wanted to ask my friends but I was WAY to embarrassed to ask people I know. My boyfriend(we're 14)is going back to visit his hometown soon...he lived there till last year..he has 4 ex girlfriends that live there that he is still good friends with and im pretty sure hes planning on visiting them! im so worried that these girls(who by the way are very slutty and did alot of things with him) are gonna be all over him and he'll be tempted and he ll cheat on me! i trust him alot but hes so close with them that i bet anything could happen! what should i do? I think you should sit down and talk to him about it. And then let him do what hes gonna do. If he loves you he won't cheat on you. Just trust him and if something happens then you can find someone better. Theres always someone better!

I think I can help you. =) This may sound weird, but I love analyzing languages and sounds!
There are 2 major differences between British English and American English.
In British English, "r"s are very light. The "er" sound at the end of words (like in water and thunder) sounds like "uh". So thunder would sound like "thunduh".
Also, the "a" sound in "cat" and "ham" sounds more like the "ah" sound in "calm" and "mop".
If you master those two differences, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

i hate math...me and math will never understand each other...i always get c's on my report card...i was in tutoring but that did'nt help much....my parents give me a hard time on it all the time..and all my friends are really good at it...my parents are always saying look at my friends there doing perfect in it...wat do i do??? I have this problem. I used to get 100%'s in all of my math classes, including Algebra 1 and Geometry. But Algebra 2 made me get a 93 (I know, it's still an A, but I worked so hard for that A). Here's why I didn't understand it.
My teacher was a horrible teacher. I couldn't learn a thing from her, until my friend helped me.
What you should do is ask your teacher for extra help. If you still struggle, ask a different math teacher for help. If you continue having problems, then ask anyone and everyone for help: family members, homework hotlines, or just try reading the textbook. Ask for extra credit, too. What I found helpful for a chemistry class was a website online (unfortunately, it didn't offer math help, but many websites explain mathematics well).

Wear it all the time. I mean it! People won't make fun of you, and if they do, they're stupid. If you absolutely can't do that, then just wear it at night. This is imperative.

If the clothes from abercrombie are so...thin....why do they cost so much?

To tell you the truth, I used to shop there (their prices are so ridiculously high now). Why? Because I liked the clothes. Not because all the cool people wore them. Of course, it was a plus that everyone else likes Abercrombie, but that is not the main reason I USED to go there.
My suggestion: go to Aeropostale! I went there today and I am recommending it wherever I go. I got a collared shirt with the logo for $13 (usually $30+ at Abercrombie) and a fit hat for $6 (usually $15+ at Abercrombie)! My sister got a ton of cool collar shirts there for $10 each! Graphic tees are 2 for $20!!
So, I dropped Abercrombie because of the prices. It really wasn't worth it. Aeropostale, however, is. Clothes shrink in the laundry regardless of where they're from.

Goodness! There's Plato's Closet, for one. Good will, too. Target and possibly Wal-Mart have "graphic tees", and Kohl's is a little cheaper than other stores (but not by much). Gap and Old Navy are sort of cheap (their prices are rising, though..unfortunately =[).
Today I went to the mall and found a store that I now love. It's like an Abercrombie, Hollister, or American Eagle, but about 2 or 3 times cheaper. AEROPOSTALE. I bought a very nice collar shirt for $12.99! At Abercrombie, you would spend at LEAST $30. Hats were only $6! At Hollister, they're $15 and up. Tee-shirts and "graphic tees" were 2 for $20! Honestly, go and see if you like their clothes. If not, then try out the other places I mentioned.

Hi I'm 18/f.
I get affected easily by what people say about me. (I know, at this age I should already be very confident) When I spot a new haircut, initially I'll feel really good bout it but when other people start to criticise it, I start to feel ugly and feel that my new haircut sucks too when i look in the mirror.
Sometimes I think I'm pretty , sometimes I'm not. I get upset when people don't think I'm pretty. I will try means and ways to get them to say I'm pretty. Or when I ask someone, "she's prettier or I'm prettier?", I'll keep bugging him or her to say them I AM prettier. I know its bad. Can someone help me to be less affected by what others say and be more confident bout wat i think of myself? (link)

This may sound weird, but most of the time if you know you're pretty, then you are. You don't need any friend to tell you that. I'm like you for the most part, I want people saying stuff like that about me but they don't unless I ask. But I think I look good most of the time (except at school where it matters most). If you think you look pretty sometimes, and if you think don't sometimes, then you should try to evaluate yourself in general: are you pretty or aren't you. Don't say "Well, in the mornings I am but during the day my hair gets messed up...". GENERALLY, are you pretty? Then keep that mindset. If you meet someone who's nice but not "pretty", you usually don't think anything of it unless they ask you "Am I pretty?". The same goes with you.
If you decide that you don't think you're pretty, then that's fine, just try to look better =) Try losing weight if you could lose a few pounds, get a new haircut (which by the way, you can't please everyone with anything, including your new haircut. Some will love it, some will hate it. It depends on what YOU want to see in the mirror every day), tan, gain a few pounds if you are too skinny, etc.
You shouldn't spend so much time asking if you're pretty. If you think you are, then you are. If you think you aren't, then only you can change that. No one can determine who looks good and who doesn't because everyone has a different opinion.

My sister is also 13 years old, and she is about your weight. She is not fat by any means. Before I continue, I'd like you to know that I do not like these questions, and that is specifically mentioned in my column, so if the answer is not what you expect, then I am sorry.
First of all, please don't lose more than 10 pounds. You should always eat breakfast. If you skip breakfast, your body thinks that you are being starved, and therefore it begins to store everything you eat. For breakfast, avoid cereal, toast, and bagels. Eggs, bacon, and fruit are fine.
For lunch, try to make it a small portioned meal. Like, maybe a small plate of spaghetti? Anything you want, as long as it is healthy.
Also add one hour of non-stop exercise to your diet.
There are three things that guarantee weight loss. They must all be done. They are:
1) Do not add dressings or condiments to food. This includes ranch dressing, bleu cheese, italian dressing, mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, mayonaisse, and honey mustard.
2) Do not eat anything after 6 pm. If you do, your body will store the food while you sleep.
3) Exercise non-stop for one hour every day. This could be swimming, running, walking, bikeriding, etc.

Don't be scared. You can't help it. Unfortunately, having two summer jobs leaves little time for fun. It is assumed that he knows this. He would not still be with you if he wanted more time with you. If he doesn't know about your job situation yet, then it would be wise to tell him as soon as possible so that you can both work around your busy summer schedule to make time for each other.
If I was in your shoes, I would quit one of the jobs. What's more important: your friends and boyfriend, or a little extra cash?
Note: Not that this matters, but I am assuming that you are a teenager.

Other people already answered your question, but they did not mention how many calories you should eat if you are on a diet. If you are trying to lose weight, then you need to burn more calories than you eat. There are websites that tell how many calories various activities help burn. I'll edit the answer with them if I find them.

You can't stop yourself from being ticklish. However, every time that you are tickled in a certain spot, you get less ticklish there. So if you are tickled a lot on your sides, then you won't be ticklish there forever.
