what is toxic shock syndrome, its always warnings on tampon boxes but it never really explains what it actually is.
but it sounds scary haha.

HUGE PROBLEM. I am going to be a freshman this year, and im going to a highschool where I dont know ANYBODY. I mean, not one person. I cant even tell you how unbelievably scared I am.

I did the same thing this past year. It's really not that bad. Actually, I wasn't that scared, which is pretty surprising, since I'm a shy person. But it's really not bad at all. Just go and make small talk with people you sit around in class. Maybe join a club? Some people are in the same situation as you. It's pretty easy to make friends. Some classes I didn't have anyone to talk to because everyone that was in the class, I didn't hang around those type of people. But, it worked and wasn't too bad. Just don't worry about it. Go in there with an open mind. Good luck! :)

i have a bay window in my room. does anyone know any cool things i can do with it?

I love how in movies they have a bay window, then a little couch type thing. You could find a cute fabric to put on top and put tons of pillows on it. Use the bottom as a shelf or for storage. I like the curtain idea too.

during the summertime im always just sitting at home or laying out in the sun. i only usually shower once a week during the summer. is this bad? i dont do this during the school year obviously but i just dont see the point of showering a lot if im not even going anywhere

Yeah, I agree with the people below. You should probably take a shower every other day, or at least a few times a week. For me, if I skip one day, my hair looks greasy and gross. But, everyones different. I don't know how dirty your hair has to be, but if you don't wash it enough, you could get lice. You could also get it with super clean hair, so you'd need to find a balance.

Does using lemon juice in your hair damage your hair.

I did it, and it didn't damage my hair at all. I guess if you use it constantly, it could a bit. But like the other person said, use good shampoo and conditioner and you'll be fine.

Yes, it does lighten it. I just got a bottle of lemon juice, put it in a spray bottle, added water, and sprayed it in my hair. Then you go outside in the sun until it dries. Or, you go blowdry it. Whichever.

How much are you supposed to charge per hour to babysit(one girl)?
And is there anything I should know about babysitting? Because I'm supposed to babysit for a family friend.

Usually, I just let them give me whatever. But, like the other person said, $6-8 is good. It depends on how bad the kid is and everything. It's a pretty simple job. Just play with the kids so they'll want you back&clean the house up before the parents come home. I just got back from babysitting a 10 year old, 5 year old, and 3 year old,& got $25 for about 4 hours. But, like I said, it all depends. have fun :)

i have it and it works really well. it takes a good hour, but it's worth it. just watch tv or something while your doing your hair and time will go by fast :)

Okay my friend is 16 years old and her boyfriend is like 21, I think. Anyways her boyfriend is really mean to her and he's so controlling. He even tells her what time she can go to parties and what time she has to be back. He beats her and alot of othere stuff. I dont know how I can help her because she's trapped in this relationship. I want to get my haircut this weekend. I've been looking around, and I can't find a good site with good haircuts. All the sites on google are like oldschool haircuts that look weird. I kind of want side bangs, my hairs a few inches past my shoulders. I was thinking of thinning it out because it's thick. i'm getting 2 teeth pulled in the back, but they are not far back they are the the first 2 teeth in the front of the back of my mouth on opposite sides on the bottom.

yeah, i was wondering how much will the novicane shot hurt? my friend said she didn't feel it, my other friend said it hurt the worst but like on a scale of 1-10 how bad is it really?

I have the same problem; especially during the winter. But anyways, I use Blistex and it works really well. It's like $2 for a little tube, but it lasts a while and it's worth it :)
