Animal farm in a easy read and took me about 5 days and i read 2 chapters a night(the chapeter are short) and its realli easy to understand..
Now great expectations took me a long time.. the dialoge is somtimes hard to understand and you have to read slow to accually get what is goign on.... so about 2 and a half to 3 and a half weeks

yeah, basically what the other person said. we read Animal Farm in about a week, and Great Expectations in a month.

Animal Farm is a quick read, less than a week. I read it in two days. Great Expectations is not quite as quick a read. While a thoroughly enjoyable book, you sometimes drag your feet returning to it and may need to repeat sentences to get the jist of them. It's also longer than Animal Farm. Give Great Expectations two weeks, three weeks if you hate reading.
