No , that`s not true; it wont make your hair thinner but could damage it over time. ]
when you straighten it, it fries your hair so it just makes it damaged not really thinner.

Straightening will just damage your hair & cause you to lose more. But to avoid this (or if you really do want to make your hair thinner), go to your salon & see what products would be best for you. ]
For some people this is true. Straightening your hair makes it really dry. Theirs products out there that make sure this doesnt happen. HopeI helped!Happy Summer

I think that is partly true. I mean, when you straighten your hair so much it gets fried and dead. Sometimes when your washing your hair and you have alot of dead or damaged strands they fall out. So i guess over time your hair can thin out- if you straightened it all the time it would probably look kind of fried. ]
Maybe, the hair just looks thinner because it's straight. Like, if your hair is curly and poofy, it'll look very thin when you straighten it.
Also, many people straighten their hair so much that it gets fried, in which case it'll be thinner. That usually happens if you straighten wet spots over and over.
But there's nothing in a straightener that makes your hair thin, you can get it cut to look thinner though. ]
i guess that could kinda be true. but it would take a reallly longg time. it would fry your hair really bad first. but i dont think it would make that big of a difference; that's noticable anyway. ]
