Q: my husband and i are trying to get pregnant. I went to the dr and he said I'm able to have all the kids I want. I want to know how the ovulation tests work from the drug store? I have irregular periods and I want to know if the tests work for those who have irregular periods too. also if you have any tips for upping my chances of getting pregnant that'd be great thank you!!

I believe the harder you try the harder it is to get pregnant my cousin tried to get pregnant for 10 years and is now finally pregnant. she had tons of tests done she spent tons of money trying to get pregnant it takes time and god deicdeds when you are ready for a child.

Dying isn't the way to go. Working ou each problem one at a time is the best thing to do. People love you but feeling depressed changes things. Study hard in school to make yourself successful. Getting put on anti depressents and finding the right one for you will help with the depression. Please dont look for an easy way out of life. Suicide is not the way to go. You need to find you some help weather on here or in the town you are in.There are always options that you could take to help work out what is wrong. Dont give up on life.

Q: So there's this guy that is a good friend and we're really close. Some people have told me that the age difference wasn't good. We kinda had a thing going on for awhile. you should call a member of your family pack up your stuff and get out and let him no what feeling like crap feels like. hes a jerk. I have been cheated on used etc My ex boyfriend cheated on me when I finally had proof of him doing it I left never once looked back. I'm a 26-year-old college graduate with my Bachelor of Arts in English. It took me awhile to graduate because I wasn't sure if a formal education was what I wanted or needed. My parents assured me it was but, so I finally finished my degree a couple months ago. My parents insisted that I have a full-time job until I found something better so I currently work at a daycare. Even though they don't understand, the job is very stressful--and I get paid minimum wage without any benefits. I really would like to try something new but my parents only want me in a professional job. I also live in MI and the job market is awful here. I feel like I should abide my parents wishes since I live under their roof, but like I previously stated, I am absolutely miserable at this job. I've been snapping at the children lately and I really feel like the stress has been getting to me. My parents say, "deal with it--you need to pay your dues, everyone has stress in their life" My question is: doesn't my happiness count to. Do they really want me to be happy or do they just want me to find a professional job so they can push me out the door as soon as possible. I'm considered a "loser" in my family because it took me so long to graduate and I don't have a good job. A lot of emphasis is put on careers in my family. I don't know what to do; I'd rather work another less stressful job, even if I'm still getting minimum wage. I feel like I put way too much work and effort into my job to be paid so little. What are your thoughts on the matter-do you think I just have to bite the bullet and do what my parents want or do you think a job is a job and as long as I find a replacement, it shouldn't be an issue. You are 26 years old and can make your own decisions. You want to a different job with more money and benefits you do that! You did what your parents asked you made it threw school you graduated college now you do your thing.

Q: I don't know what's wrong with me, but I ALWAYS seem to go after the guys who are either in a relationship, or in this case married. There's this married guy, only two years older than me, so it's not like he's old or anything, who has been giving me some pretty strong signals. We flirt all the time. I think you should picture your self married and your man with another woman.

There is nothing sexual and if your flirting with him hes done been cheating.

Q: Hi!
I just had back surgery, a growing rod adjustment and I'm very stiff and in pain (but still cheerful). I was just wondering how to get rid of my stiffness, as the muscle relaxant isn't working very well and when i try to stretch, it hurts extremely. It even hurts when i cough and sneeze. Please Help!

I think a good heating pad could really help. You may also talk to your surgeon about a muscle relaxer it gets better over time. good luck

Q: 18/f. I just graduated and I'm pregnant. I am now in college I am expecting to have my daughter Jan 3. There has been drama with my family & my boyfriend's family just because of different beliefs, which has been real annoying. My parent's have been doing everything already for my child, and I appreciate that very much. But I feel that's the only help I need and sometimes assistance with my daughter. I can already tell though that there are going to be problems with parenting my child here. We have been setting the room next to mine up to be my daughter's room, it was never really a question it just happened well my mom made it happen. I honestly would like my daughter to be in my room is that foolish of me?

My mom still tries to take everything over like I have gotten medicaid and my sisterinlaw gave my mother the card and my mom never gave it to me when she knew i was going to the doctor that makes no sense to me and she still hasn't given it to me i told her i needed it I wouldn't think someone would need to be reminded that

She already babys the heck out of my nephews and niece it's just so sickening. and with the my child living here around it 24/7 just makes me sick

Things in this house are so unconventional, my parent's don't sleep together, they always need to be more than acknoledge when they arrive, theres never truly any privacy my dad sleeps in a room where you always have to see him to do anything in the house and be asked what you're doing or just feeling the wondering. They don't use the same bathroom so i have to use the bathroom in my mom's room which i hate, I don't plan to take my daughter over there all the time to bathe her that makes no sense. but my dad's bathroom and shower is never kept clean. My mom act's like this baby is coming for her. like she's the one who is becoming a mom again like she always has to take over. It just pisses me off I want to get out. I want my daughter to be sure of who her parents are and not always on and around someone who didn't even want her here in the first place. I just see this allll happening, and I guess it's cause i'm pregnant and I want to prevent it instead of it ever happening at all. It sucks because I'm still a teenager I cannot do anything on my own my mom is the main one who can help because she does nothing all day, which is a contributing factor to this. I am very grateful for them but my mom just takes things to another level and ive told her many times to step back and my boyfriend & his mom already and she still thinks the way she does. I know its messed up to think things could get this way and nothing like this even happens. but idk what is going to happen. I really need advice

I was a young mom I still am young but my son is 4 now. I had to deal with the family drama its hard but you have to deal with it. you can get a baby bath time they can use that for several months you can bath your child in the kitchen in that tub or even in kitchen sink. its safer than a huge bath tub. as of the medicad card you need to just ask your mother for it and have her hand it to you right then and there. you still are a child. my husband has called me a child up until i finally turned 20. its hard being young and u and your parents have to agree on ways to deal with it. ask your mom not to help with the baby 24.7 but you would defintly apprciate some help

Q: My boyfriend is a gorgeous guy who is well mannered (yes sir no sir yes ma'am, no ma'am to all adults) He is athletic and really smart (straight A's in school)but for some reason he always wears his paper napkin tucked in the collar of his shirt when he eats and I don't think that is what most 16 year olds do when they eat. I have not done that since I was 10 years old. Should I say something to him about it. My mom thinks it is cute and told me not to say anything because it would probably embarrass him. I have seen his younger brother (14) do the same thing at dinner one night so I guess maybe his parents require this. What should I do?

I dont think you should say something at all but maybe do the same thing. It keeps clothes clean and there is nothing wrong with this. I need to be doing this I drop something on my shirt everytime I try and eat something.

Q: i just started junior high a couple months ago, and i made a quick friendship with these two girls that i really like. ok heres the story. one day, this popular 8th grader was being a bitch(as usual). i tried to ignore it, but my friend flipped her off and called her a bitch. now, all the 8th graders have been turned against her, and people write abunch of nasty stuff about her on formspring, and send her mean messages on facebook. the other day, the one that she flipped off confronted her on the hall, and i dont know what she said o her but she came out crying. i feel so bad for her, and i just want them to stop being so mean. she even said that she might transfer schools if they don't stop! I'm scared that if i confront the girl about it, she will turn on me next. i know that sounds kind of selfish, but im just too scared to. is there any way that i could talk to her without her being mean to me?

I think that you and your friend need to go to the principal I know you guys dont think its cool or till cause more problems I used to think the same way but bullying can lead to suicide or murder crazy stuff can happen and it needs to be delt with weather you dont think its this serious or not yours friends obviously hurting.

You both have to sit and think of this. It is a huge choose to keep this baby. Do either of you have a job? How are you going to afford this baby? Are you to going to eventually live with each other is the baby going to stay with you or her If you guys live with your parents you need to talk to them either way you need to talk to them or else they arent going to trust either of you and think you both are two childish to even consider raising a child if you cant even tell you parents. now you and her both asked for this child. because of the fact you had unprotected sex. If you dont want the baby there are tons of families who cant have babies and would love the oppurtunity to raise your child.

Q: Hi everyone. I'm twelve and I was supposed to start the seventh grade at my private school tomorrow, but today I found out I'm starting school at the town middle school!!!!! Not only that I'm starting the eighth grade!!!!! Everyone is older than I am and I don't know ANYBODY there!!!!!! Help!!

Everything will be fine you will make new friends and get used to the school. you just have to take it one day at a time.

Q: My girlfriend is so bipolar its ridiculous. I'm not sure if she actually has these mood swings or if she just acts like it to get a reaction out of me. its so random, we'll be talking about something and she will all of a sudden say bye or i don't wanna be with you anymore when an hour earlier she was saying how she wants to be with me forever and wouldn't leave me for the world. I think you should talk to her about seeing a doctor and getting some advice or how to handle this.

you could just have an unsual period. I do I would go 4 months with out a period. stress causess a late period or to skip a period id talk to your doctor. if you want to regulate them birth control is your best bet.

Q: Well lately my mom out of the blue will be like passing someone at wal mart and she sees a guy she will be like look hes cute oh thats right your gay or your a lesbian (im bi by the way) and it really hurts. she complains about her closest brother and his new wife saying his wife has taken him from the family but she hasnt. by what you have wrote it sounds like it is just you and your mother so i imagine you are getting older and she feels you are pulling apart. she prob things she wont get to be a grandmother is you are bi. She is jealous beacuse her brother is happy and she is not. you need to help her make friends or spend more time with friends.

Q: It hurts me wen my girlfriend dont tell me the small things like when her son started school or what she did on her day off/ I am not psycho I just wanna be able to communicate since shes 3 hours away. I dont know how old you two are but I imagine her having a child whom is in school you are older than high school. Why cant you just move with her if you want to make this relationship work into the same town make adjusments.

Hey everybody. FIRST OFF- I am not talking about now, I am talking about when I'm older!!

Various resources have scared me away from childbirth, and I was wondering- is it as difficult to adopt as I've heard? I plan on adopting a young child if I ever decide to adopt. I know that adopting an infant is a huge production, but what about a small child?

Also, which is more expensive (adoption or childbirth in a hospital)? Can anybody tell me approximately how much either would cost?

Also, are childbirth and pregnancy as horrible as I've come to learn they are?

Any answers are much appreciated, thank you!

Childbirth:

Yes it hurts but when its over you dont even remember and them can give you an epidural for pain. Although I believe it slows down your labor. I had an epidural with my first and not my second. My first I was in labor around 12 hours my second I was in labor maybe 3 hours. I was in a lot of pain but I cant even remember at all. Also I didnt pay anything to have either of my children I was on medicad for pregnant woman. But the cost for the clothing, diapers, wipes, socks, blankets, crib, car seat everything is so expensive.

Adoption:
I dont know much about but I know they look at your income to she if you can afford to take care of child. They like it better if you are married and they look at his income. But thats all I know about that hopefully someone else can tell you about adoption.
