I'm not going through this but it's out of curiousity.
Some girl told me that she was cutting but that she was only leaving marks in her skin and wasn't getting right down to where it would start bleeding BUT where she marked her self after became swollen for a couple of days and was a red bump.
I asked someone about it and they said it was perfectly safe and should be happy she's doing that rather than actually cutting and someone else told me it's not AS dangerous but she could still do some harm to her self.
I didn't really understand how she could really hurt her self by making marks in her skin that later turned in to bumps so can anyone explain it a bit and/or tell me which person is correct.

She can't hurt hurself too bad.
It'll leave scars, and that'll suck, but it's not dangerous.
It could end up hurting her if she becomes ammune to the pain of just leaving marks on her skin, and she starts to cut deeper.

my friend is like that to. she copies me ALL the time. she knows you cant stand it, so just tell her off. tell her that its your life and your sick of her copying her. tell her to get her own life. shes not your friend if she doesnt care that your upset about this. and she doesnt. u told her u dont like it. so she deserves it.

There are these two boys and I can see myself with both of them. The promblem is Derek is friends with my brother and goes to a diff high school than me, I've known him for about 6 months now. Damien goes to my school and we have a lot in common but I've only known him for a few weeks. I honestly don't know who to pick. They are both great guys. I say you go out with damien. you can see him more often, so its easier communication. you wouldnt want to force derek to choose between who to hang out with, you or your brother. that would put him in a bad position, and would have to break up with you, or stop hanging out with your brother. if he stops hanging out with your brother, he'll be mad at you, and derek will b feelin guilty and itll cause to much drama. damien just seems so much easier.

After I take a shower my hair is alwyas knotty. After I comb all the knots out it gets knotty again. Then my hair get really frizzy when it dries. Do you have any ideas on how to get the knots out and how to get my hair frizz-less. (link)

as soon as u get out of the shower, comb it, then straighten it with a straightening iron. when it dries, comb it again, and straighten it again, usually straight hair doesnt tangle.

I'm a pretty good student, usually do all my homework and don't cheat or anything. Most of the time, people are always asking to copy my homework and since I'm nice and want to make friends, I let them. I can't say I don't have it when its out on my desk and anyone can see it. I always get scared the teacher is going to see I'm letting someone copy and I'll get in trouble! What should I say next time it happens? I don't want to come off as mean or anything, but I'm sick of working for my grades when someone can just copy and get it easy! (link)

just tell them not to copy it. tell them you think theyre all wrong. tell them you dont want to get in trouble. tell them anything like that. just say u dont wanna get in trouble, or u dont wanna get caught, or u did it in a rush and theyre all wrong, and in the end if it doesnt work, keep your homework in a binder of folder so they cant see it, therefore, they dont know you have it :)

Okay my friend is kind of lets say gothic... everyone picks on him at school and sometimes they get down right cruel. He has rocks, footballs, popcans(full),anything they can find thrown at him. He is also now afraid the go to school because of everything that goes on. Well anyways I was talking to him tonight and he told me that he almost lit a house on fire and he is thinking about homicide.. to the kids that are mean to him.. should I tell someone so no one is hurt... but then wouldn't he get mad at me.. seriously, talk to him about it. tell him NOT to kill someone. i have nothing against a little revenge, but burning their house down? maybe tell him to hold it back for a few days, see if things improve, and try REALLY hard to get the people picking on him to stop. try antyhing. you dont want to lose a friend, but u dont want sum1 else dead (i hope)

i have pretty much felt like this my whole life...
i feel like whenever i do something people are watching me and talking shit about me or gunna laugh at me or something, i mean i realize that they dont really do that, they probably dont even notice me, but i dont like getting up in class to go sharpen my pencil cause im scared or embarresed or something that people will watch me and just stare at me the whole time or the teacher will yell at me for getting up...and today i was to embarresed or scared to go get ketchup and put it on my plate cause i was thinking that people might laugh and me and be like omg look at her shes using ketchup or something...i know it really weird..

theres nothing wrong with you. your just worried about what people think about you, its not bad, a lot of people are like that. i dont think quite as many people have it as bad as you, but i know how you feel. you feel like your doing something wrong, and everyone else is doing it right, and theyll talk about you for it. but to answer your question, theres nothing wrong with you :)

well, i think that she's a little embarassed about kissing you infront of people. its not that she doesnt like you, or that shes embarassed by you, but she thinks about all the bad things that kissing could lead to.. there really isnt anything bad about it, but to her, there might be, or maybe shes never kissed anyone and she is nervous.

I'm having trouble with my step-mother because she makes it painfully obvious that she doesn't want me around. I've got one brother one step-brother and two step-sisters, and me and my real brother always get put down and have to do all the work in the house.She always complains at me and blames me for everything she also treats me horribly and she makes me feel sooo depressed...
I know this sounds like a whole lot of complaining but I am a sensitive person and I need to sit my dad down and have a talk with him about my step-mother. Her complaining has gotten me to the point of attemped suicide a couple of times. But I can never see him because he is always at work and when he is home I can't build up the courage to sit him down to talk. :( (link)

You seriously need to talk to him about it, if he doesnt believe you, just refuse to do the work that your told to, and nothing will get done, because your steps dont do anything, and he'll realize that you and your brother always do everything. *make sure you get your brother to not do anything also*

It it normal to get vaginal discharge even before you have your period?
Like I'm gunna be 14 in a few months, and I've been having discharge, and I've NEVER had my period.
So my questions are, is it normal that I don't have my period?
and is it normal that I'm getting discharge?
What should I do, we don't have any pads around the house, and I'm not a fan of tampons, also I find it really akward to talk to my mom about that kind of thing, so I don't want to like go out and get pads or anything until I actually have my period

discharge just means your gonna have your period, and soon. i suggest you either take some of your moms pads, or get a tampon. somewhat seems like the only options. if anything tell your mom u need some pads. thats all u can do..

hmm.. go to a nail place thingy, i duuno wut you call it, the place where ppl do nails, and ask them about what you can do about it, they often have special lotions and things that moisturize them..
you can buy a cutical clipper at walmart or something, just keep your cuticles short, that way itll b harder for them to break...

all i can say is when you hear other ppl talking about him, tell them to stop. if they honestly believe a rumor, set them straight. if you hear sum1 tell sum1 else a rumor, tell um off. u should also talk to ur boyfriend about how he acts infront of other people..

use a tampon. easy as that. if you dont have tampons, or dont use them, and youre seriously really scared, i suggest u duck tape the wings to ur underwear.. haha ive never done that but i bet it works :P

you can make a ponytail, tie it up into a regular bun, but have some hair hanging out, then spread the hanging hair around the bun, like in the hair thingy, but poking out all around. i dunno wut to call it..
