Discharge~ Sorry It's so Long

It it normal to get vaginal discharge even before you have your period?
Like I'm gunna be 14 in a few months, and I've been having discharge, and I've NEVER had my period.
So my questions are, is it normal that I don't have my period?
and is it normal that I'm getting discharge?
What should I do, we don't have any pads around the house, and I'm not a fan of tampons, also I find it really akward to talk to my mom about that kind of thing, so I don't want to like go out and get pads or anything until I actually have my period

Yes that is normal to have discharge, dont be ashamed of having ur period its just something every girl gets. Tell your mom im sure she will get u the right things you need and if ur really worried see a doctor

Hey~frist of all, yes it is normal to get Discharge before your period and yes it is normal that you haven't started yet. I knew someone that didn't start untill 16. Well I would suggest getting panty liners untill you start and then when you start go get pads or whatever fits you best. ~Paige~

That's normal. It's all good. Actually it's all bad, because having your period sucks....but yeah, that's normal. ^^ I'd wait until the last minute. Try avoiding telling your mom. You do NOT want to do that. o__o;;

discharge just means your gonna have your period, and soon. i suggest you either take some of your moms pads, or get a tampon. somewhat seems like the only options. if anything tell your mom u need some pads. thats all u can do..

Hey, don't worry, discharge is the sign of your body getting ready for your period!! I know you find it really awkward talking to your mom about this but once you do, you'll feel much better. Also, you should start wearing panty liners just incase there is too much discharge and it leaks. Always have some pads around the house because your period may come soon!! Oh discharge is normal and it just means your getting ready to get your period and it's weird talking to your parents about it... so you'll definatly know when you get it so when that time comes then you can just tell your mom real casually "Hey I got my period" and it won't be a big deal

well, first of all, not tryin to be motherly or n e thing, but u alwayz have to have pads around the house. it might cum overnight or while ur in the house.u don't really hav to tawk 2 ur mom, there are many websites. so if u want to go out, go to the drugstore and tell ur mom or dad, i just need 2 get sumthin personal. or u can go alone(wich is more comfortable).good luk and i hope i helped.

both are completely normal. everyone gets their periods at different times, and discharge is something that happens. ask your mom, even if you feel uncomfortable. your mom was probably uncomofrtable about the same things, but she went through them. send me something if you want to talk. K

I got my period when I was 12.It is totally normal to have discharge before you get your period.When you do get ur period u will still get discharge but only when you dont hav ur period.You will probably get ur period soon because discharge is the first sign that ur getting ur period.Talking to ur mom could really help u because she has done it many ttimes b4 and she can give you tips.Its not weird for you to talk to ur mom about that because all girls get their period its NORMAL!!!!!!My friends dont care if i talk about it in front of them.You should get pads b4 u get ur period and keep them in ur locker just in case.I mean think about how embarassing it wud b if u got ur period at skool and it leaked through ur shorts!Tampons can b a little scary at first but once u hav done it a few times its really easy.Dont worry every girl has to go through the same thing and u will 2!

Well the whole discharge thing is part of you about to start your period. It's normal. And yes it is normal that you don't have your period yet. It varies with everyone. My suggestion is to talk to your mom even though you feel weird about talking to her and tell her what's going on. You're mom has been through the same thing I promise and she'll let you know exactly what's going on with your body. Hope this helped!
