I'm 13 and i wanna start wearing makeup. My parents would probably only let me wear light stuff.. so nothing too drastic..
Can you tell me good products to start off with and where to get them (not too expensive please)

Makeup comes with time...after practice you will be able to see what you like on yourself by a lot of testing!! Go to the drugstore (walgreens Cvs etc.) you dont need expensive stuff to look good haha. I love maybelline water proof mascera..if you have acne then you could try cover up(conceler)..I usually use revlon new complexion cover up. It has two different colors..so you are able to mix them up to match your skin tone. For rosy cheeks really any kind of blush works..you can try L'oreal brand ..I have fair skin as well and I use the Mocha Rose. Since you are just begining your makeup experiences all you need to do is practice and soon you will get the look you want!

My best friend always gets into arguements with her dad. And now she wants to move back in with her mom. And that means she'll be switching schools, and moving like 30 minutes away. And I don't know what to say to her. I want her to stay, and I've tried everything to get her to stay. Can someone please help me with this? I really don't want her to leave me. Because if she moves, my other best friend is going to move schools to a Lutheran school because she doesn't want to deal with having her move... What should I do? (link)

I know this may sound bad..but this decision is really all hers..if she is unhappy living with her father..its very unfair for you to put all this pressure on her to stay. All you can do is be a great friend by supporting her in everything she does..whether you make like it or not. Its a hard thing for a best friend to move..I have had so many close friends move away but its a part of life. You can of course tell her what you think and be like I want you to stay but ultametly in the end its all her decision. I am sorry!

yes it is completly normal for you to. You may feel all gross doing it afterwards..but i can tell you that a lot more people than you think (including your friends) do it. You shouldnt feel giulty about it..its human nature.

Hey, I’m usually the one giving advice. I don’t need advice. I just have a question and I want to know your opinion. This question is for deep thinkers. Long answers are encouraged as well as comical ones.
I’ve seen quite a lot of “love” questions, asked by adolescences. What would you call "true love"? Many people have been saying “I have a boyfriend and I REALY love him” and “she said that he loves me” or things like that. I’ve seen these questions being asked by 13 year olds! Teens DO have deep affections for people, but I really don’t think that they are capable of TRUE love. How can there be love if teen relationships only last 2 months or even 2 years! 2 years is quite long for a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, but shouldn’t love last a LIFETIME? I agree that teens think that they are in love (I’ve been there) but I wouldn’t call that love. I would call it more like, “deep affection”. After all, if love between teens is really “love” then they shouldn’t break up, right? I think that teens are too young and “unexposed” to have TRUE LOVE. Even adults. They mistakenly call their relationships “love”. If it was actually love, then shouldn’t there be less or no divorces?

I completly agree with you there. I ask myslef the same question over and over all the time. When I hear people at school or at the mall wherever..young people and teens etc..saying I love you or even asking for advice about it on here I just don't understand it. Now im not saying anything against people who say it, but it makes no sense to me how people who are so young can actually say and mean I love you. To me love is such a powerful emotional thing and to say that to someone who you go out with for a short period of time or even "2 years" doesnt make much sense.People say it so lightly and take it lightly when really saying I love you is so powerful and meaningful. Thats my take on it. But I wanted to say that I definitly understand what you are saying.

I always say go straight for the source. Even though it may be hard to ask him, relationships are based on honesty and being able to be comfortable talking and telling eachother something. You should definitly ask him but if you dont feel comfortable doing that ask around..maybe his friends or others will know what is up. I hope everything ends up ok.

Well boys are usually a little smaller when you are at that age. A lot will grow in the next few years..don't you worry they will be shooting up like weeds before you know it haha! As you may have seen boys are aslo a few years behind girls..in maturity level etc. Some of them might have also not gone through there growsburt or gone through puberity yet!

Yes that is date rape and this is when they force themselves on you, when you say no. This is not only wrong but you can also press charges, if it is really serious. No you are not a baby you did not want this and you refused. You did nothing wrong. It was not your fault and don't ever think it was. If I were you I would press charges. I am so sorry hun..

You should never ever do anything you do not want to do or feel uncomfortable doing. He is older and it may not seem that much (only 2 years difference) but the maturity level and experience level is way different. Tell him you like him a lot but don't feel comfortable sleeping over and well you know...If he is a true friend then he will understand you are not ready and do not feel comfortable. And if he makes a big deal about it and gets mad ect. then you know he was never a true friend. Let me just say that guys are great but also pigs and in my opinion sex is sex and making love is with someone you love completly(in marriage).

Whenever my parents go out to "buy" me clothes, that's when the problem starts. They always buy me things like plaid skinny leg pants or big, oversized T-shirts, and that just isn't my style- I prefer jeans and a nice, form-fitting tee. Yes there definitly is. All you need to say is how much you appreciate them spending there time buying you colthes all the time but maybe it would be fun if you went with them. Suggest going with the to shop. Not only will you get to pick out the clothes yourslef, but you can spend "quality time" with them. You could also just tell them how you feel, the only reason why they are probably still buying you this stuff is because you haven't spoken up about it and they think you like it.

Okay i know that all scary movies are fake and stuff. It's just that at night when I'm in my bed i always think about the grudge, freddy, jason, micheal myers, and all that stuff. And i don't know how to stop thinking about it. And one time I was at a party and I did Bloody Mary which scared the crap at of me. And after i did it I got so scared i had to sleep with my parents for like 5 months and at school someone would have to come to the bathroom with me(not in the same stall though) But anyways.. I don't know how to not be scared any more.. Does anyone have ideas? (link)

That is so normal. I have a lot of friends who are the same way, I even get that way sometimes. Since you do get afraid (which is just fine and normal) seperate yourself from watching these kinds of movies. If your group of friends want to go see a scary movie suggest a romantic movie or something that is not scary. This way you won't have all of these scary images going through your head. If you are thinking of these fictional charcters try hard to think of other things like happy things...That is what I try doing.

Lately all my friends have been leaving me out. They have all been making new friends but some of there new friends dont like me or somethin. So if i hang out with them and there new friends they dont even notice me. Also alot of other people have noticed that the group i hav hung out with is leaving me out, so then if they ask my friends whats going on they think im talking about them, which isnt the case. So i have tried to make new friends and i have, but everytime i see my old friends i have this want to be close to them again. why? why should i want to be there friends still when it appears they dont want to be my friend anymore? Hun there must be a reason why your friends are excluding you. Friends just don't exclude good friends without reason. Have you really searched your soul to what the problem really might be? You want to be close with them again because you guys used to be very close and you guys had a lot of good times together. How do you know they don't want to be your friends anymore? Sometimes when we don't know they true or whole story we imagine the worst case sceniro in our minds. Communication really is the best answer. I love coke too. My parents usually don't but any soft drinks so I don't get tempted and drink a ton. I would either try drinking something else and get hooked on that (something a little better for you) or have your parents not buy a ton of coke, so that you are not tempted to drink so much. But really you shouldn't have to worry, limit yourself to every once in a while and you should be fine.

If these girls are already very mad at you for others reasons, why would you want to make it worse. I know if I was your friend I wouldn't be too happy if you tried to take my b/f. Listen this sounds like this could turn into a messy situation with all 3 of you likeing him. The guy does have a girlfriend. If I were you I would first reconcile with your friends and then see if there is someone else who catches your eye... who knows you could be over him like that..

Listen everyone has stage fright. Just go up there and have a fun time. Sounds crazy I know with all of the pressure and stuff, but it will really help you take all of it off of your mind. Have you tried running your lines with people in your cast? If not have them run lines with you out of school, trust me I know it really helps. Keep reading over it, You will do just fine.
