My dad has blood cancer and has been in the hospital for the past 6 months. His whole family is basically just waiting for him to die so they can get his money. None of them have even visited him in the hospital in the whole 6 months. Actually, his brother did--on his birthday. It's my mom's family that has been there for us and my dad. They don't want anything from my dad.
Everyone has been telling my mom to not even give them the chance at my dad's money if, god forbid, anything should happen to him. But we don't know if there is any legal way we can keep them from getting anything. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or any ideas?

OK,
So next year I'll be trying out for High School and I play all positon's including goalie. And to be on the High School team and to go farther in life playing soccer I really need to find a position and work on it really hard. I just can't choose. Foward I love but I don't really have good endurance but I have speed and a hard kick. Midfield I'll always be moving and usually touching the ball but once again i don't really have the endurance for it. Defence I love too there's nothing really anything bad I can say about that. Then goalie I love to be goalie espically when I save the ball and everyone cheers (lol duh) but then i hate it because feel like I let my whole team down. Well i just can't decied what position to play and work on. What position would the High School probably need?

Well I don't think you should be goalie cause if yo ever do miss a ball and let a goal be scored you will feel bad about yourself. I think you should be Center Defense. I play that and goalie, but for defense you need a hard kick, speed, and you need to know how tyo play all spots of defense to direct other people. push-ups, pull-ups, lift weights, practice throwing the ball and use a punching bag. Thats what I do. I play goalie and I can throw it further than half field.

Don't show off or anything just be yourself (not the self that hates talking to boys but you know what I mean) Yeah if you talk to him face to face he might like you. It seems kind of akward but usually it will work. Just tell him that you like him face to face and don't tell one of your friends to do it. Try and conquer your fear of talking to boys and just go do it. If he says he doesnt like you, it might be akward to see him after that but just think to yourself you tried and thats all I can do. Well first of all, dont go goth cause there was this one girl at my school who liked me and thought very icky things and now it seems like shes going goth or something like that. Yes well go talk to him in the hallway (or if you have any classes with him do it there) and tell him "I know you know I like you but can you please talk to me cause you are hurting my feelings." Don't say it snotty though cause boys would usually laugh at that if it was snotty. Yes, he would probably talk to you if you went and talked to him face to face. Hope my advice helps. How about a story about a collage student trying out for a sport with low grades. Her parents won't let her join if they dont get their grades up. While going to the tryouts she gets in a carcrash. I've been having alot of problems with my life latley ; and it's all starting to really weigh me down.
1) I was diagnosed with scoliosis the other week. Now I might have to get a brace or even surgery.
2) Today I went to the dentist to get my gums checked out before I got braces on. Turns out my lower gums are weak and I need surgery to fix them. Then I need two permenant teeth pulled then I will finally get my braces on.
3) I'm going to be kicked off of the cheerleading squad cause I will be missing 7 games during my recovery from the surgery. I will also miss several practices with my every other week check-ups on my back.
4) My dad's getting a pay cut in 2 weeks.
5) We're moving.
Since my dad is getting a paycut ; we are watching our budget. Now that I have all these surgerys, and other problems, I will cost my parents over $8,000 in treatments ; check ups ; and surgeries. My mom is constantly reminding me that I'm the one thats costing them so much money. There is nothing I can do about it though! I didn't purposley screw up my back. I didn't all the sudden decided I want weak gums to have to get surgery and cost them thousands of dollars. What do I dO ? I can't take the guilt and pain. The Surgerys are scaring me half to death, my mom isn't helping, and all of my families troubles are my fault. Help is appreciated .. if it's not to much to ask. (link)

You can't really tell off of anything. You wouldn't wan't to try because if you were wrong and you spread a rumor that she liked you she could... well yeah... You should just go confront her and then ask her out. I don't think you are shy and if you think she likes you you should go tell her that you like her or ask her out. I hope this advice helps. Hmmmm... This is a hard one, but just ask your friend what he would think of someone more than a year older than his sister to go out with her. What I think might happen is that if you don't ask him before then he will be in disbelieve and then accept it later on. Even though hes protective, you are his friend and he trusts you so he will learn to live with it. If you ask him before, then he will feel more trust because you asked him first to see if that is okay. I think that either way would be a win situation so just go ahead and pick one. If you want to loose 20 pounds, you just need to eat healthy and exercise. You need to limit yourself from eating junk food. Eat it sparingly or maybe don't eat it at all. I know people can be tempted to not eat junk food sparingly, but just try to stay away from it. You need to eat healthy things. For school lunch, try some fruit and vegitables everyday and try to get the main food with the least fat in it. Also, in gym class, don't be the one who talks to friends instead of playing the game. Participating in gym can help a lot. While you are at home try not to stay on the computer all the time. Go outside once in a while maybe play some basketball on a neighbor's hoop. If you really want to be on the computer, every ten minutes of using it, try to go do 20 sit-ups or 10 push-ups and get back on. If you can follow these instructions and do even more healthy things than I told you to do, then you'll feel confident and proud of your body. But even now don't think that you need to lose 30 or more pounds. You are only 14 and if you lose that much weight it could stop your growing for a while and do other harmful things to you. Heres a Daily workout plan for right before you go to bed:
Sunday: 30 push-ups + 40 sit-ups
Monday: 40 sit-ups + Run around the block or run on the treadmil (If you have one)
Tuesday: 30 Push-ups + 50 Crunches
Wednesday: 15 Pull-ups + 40 Sit-ups
Thursday: Run Around the Block + 50 Crunches
Friday: 15 Pull-ups + 30 Push-Ups
Saturday: 40 Sit-ups + Jump for 5 Minutes
Each Week you do this increase each activity by one (40 sit-ups and then 41 sit-ups) Drink plenty of water while working out.

No almost all boys wouldn't be turned off by big feet, and your feet aren't big. I know a girl who has size 13 shoes and a lot of people like her. Yeah 8 1/2 isn't big or small. I'm a guy and I have 11 1/2 but yeah big or small feet don't matter.

Confront him. Ask him why he doesn't talk to you. Ask if you can be friends. Tell him you really want to be and that you feel hurt the you aren't yet. As time passes and you become better friends, ask him if he likes you and tell him your affection to him. If he isn't stuck up and isn't self-centered, he'll probably be nice to you. Well this has happend to me before even though I was on the completly other end of where you are. Yes, start out with just a normal convosation and then after maybe 3 minutes of talking and stuff just ask why he hasn't talked to you for a while. Then if he explains to you in a positive answer then tell him you still kind of like him. Trust me, I'm a guy. You were never together and so that doesn't mean if you started to go out you wouldn't be hooking up again. If he used to kinda like yo then there is almost no chance that he wouldn't ask you out right there. Hope this helped. Good Luck!
