If there is any swelling/redness/irritation/injuries incurred from anal sex then, yes, a doctor can tell that there's a possibility you've had anal sex. But if you've suffered no physical problems as a result of anal sex then it is highly unlikely that the doctor will know.
The vagina has a thin membrane called the hymen that ruptures during the first experiences of penetrative sex. If that membrane is broken, the doctor will know that your vagina has been penetrated. However, a broken hymen can also happen from masturbation, tampons and even certain sports such as horse riding. Whilst a broken hymen is a good indicator of virginity, it doesn't quantify sexual intercourse with another.
Because the anal opening has no such membrane, it is very hard to tell if a person participates in anal sex with absence of irritation/injury.
In an exam it is highly unlikely that the doctor will check anal virginity. If he/she does check your anus it will only be to ensure youre also healthy there as well as vaginally

A doctor cannot tell if a girl is a virgin; vaginally or anal, and is never the reason for a scheduled vaginal exam
Exams are done to make sure that the tissues are healthy; muscular wall of vagina and cervix as well, he will check the muscle by touching to make sure it's of normal thickness and will do a Pap smear to check the cervix. It's important to get yearly Pap smears to check for cervical cancer; the doctor inserts a device into the vagina and scraps at the cervix to look at the cells under a microscope to see if they appear normal or abnormal.
Those are the main reason for yearly visits too a gynecologist; other than of course if you have colored/ foul smelling discharge, unusual bleeding, painful intercourse or urination, etc
Sorry if I put extra info but I think it's important to know what the doctor is checking for
A doc cannot tell if a girl is a virgin because anything can cause your hymen to break; say if you masterbate or use toys, it could break the hymen but you'd still be a virgin right? On the other hand if you've had a child before, then my answer is yes the doc would be able to tell because the cervix loses it's smaller circular opening, instead it has a jagged slit like opening.
I hope I helped; if you have any other questions, especially medical let me know

So t

They can't technically figure out you had sex... Although it would show your hymen is. Token which can happen from doing intense activities. I advice you to be honest with your doctor they can't tell your parents if you are not in danger in any way.

I'm not 100% sure about it, but I think it's impossible to tell if someone has had anal sex if it has been consensual. A doctor can check if a girl is a virgin because when she has sex for the first time there's something called hymen that breaks, and that's how the girl loses her virginity. Well, there's not such thing in anal sex so I don't think so.

Im not an medical expert at all. I have no idea about these kind of things. I really cant help you but...

Im pretty sure that he only checks vaginal sex and does not check for anal. But im not 100% sure so I suggest you ask someone with better medical experience for this information.

Sorry I couldn't help further.

It's impossible for a doctor to tell if a person is a virgin, anal or vaginal. This is because the hymen actually *shouldn't* tear during sex, except in rare cases of a birth defect (impreforate hymen) or unusually thick hymen.

All women, virgins or not, have hymens (except for again, in the case of some birth defects where the woman is born without one.) In general the hymen will show no obvious signs of trauma regardless of whether a woman is a virgin or not.

In some countries, a doctor will issue a certificate of virginity, but this is NOT based on science and is completely subjective.

A few things you need to know that your question brings to light for me.

1) No the doctor cannot tell if you are sexually active either with vaginal sex or anal sex unless the doctor sees some semen. That would be a giveaway sign. The doctor can only tell if you Hymen is in tact and there are many ways for today's active female to dislodge her Hyman. So a missing Hyman is not proof of loss of virginity.

2) More importantly this questions sounds like mom is taking you to the doctor to see if you are sexually active. If you are 14 or older, even though the doctor cannot tell by examination, you can refuse to have this type of exam or have the results of any medical exam or treatment of your reproductive system shared with your parents.

A federal law called HIPPA gives anyone over the age of 14 medical confidentiality over their reproductive system. Even though in the eyes of the law you are a minor and mom can force you to go to the doctor. This type of exam cannot be forced on you or can she or anyone else know the results of any exam or treatment of your reproductive system with out your consent.

Your mother can no longer be in the exam room with you at any time during any exam where a doctor may have reason to give you a female exam.
The examination of your reproductive system and the medical records of any examination are totally confidential. Only you can say who may see these records and that has to be in writing to your doctor(s).

Doctors are well aware of this law so all you need to say to the doctor is you are invoking your rights under HIPPA. The doctor or nurse will explain to your mother what that means. You cannot be forced and no doctor will allow you to be forced to give up this right.

Congress put this into the HIPPA law so young people would seek medical help when and if they needed or if they had questions they were too embarrassed to as a parent. By having total medical confidentiality you can speak freely and truthfully with your doctor so the doctor can properly treat you.

3) An unintended consequence of this law is that you can also ask the doctor for birth control medication and it will be prescribed for you. If you are sexually active I suggest you ask for birth control medication.

4) This law allows anyone 14 or older to seek medical help by making appoints and seeing a doctor with or without parental knowledge or permission. You may see any doctor you chose which may be your present doctors or you may go to any of the free clinics for women's reproductive health.

A doctor may do a vaginal exam to test for many things. He/she can tell weather or not your hymen has been broken, but sex isn't the only thing that can break it. The Doctor may ASK if you are sexually active. He/she will not rely solely on an exam.

Unless you volunteer the info, The doctor will most likely not know you have had anal sex. Unless you have a problem with hemorrhoids or something, an anal exam won't be done.

If you are planning an exam by a doctor soon. It is a very good time to ask questions you may have about sex or birth control. Your questions are kept confidential & can be really helpful to you.
