First I don't think you are ready yet to make this jump yet, your question says this to me. It does matter how long you know someone before you let him do something like fingering you, especially at your ages. When your a lot older and more mature and knowledgeable about your own sexuality the time standard changes.

Go in your room, undress and lay on your bed or while your taking a bath let your hand(s) wander over your body. Feel you breasts and nipples. finger yourself. See what it feels like. This is how you learn. There is also plenty of information on the web on this topic.
This is known as masturbation which is perfectly normal and a safe way to relieve your own sexual tension.
A reason not to let your boyfriend finger you is your reputation at school. When it comes to sex boys are the biggest gossips ever. First off, I'd like to take notice of 3 points. You are nearly 14, you've been dating this guy for 1 month, and he wants to finger you. Now that we have the 3 main points, let me provide this advice.
First of all, you are barely 14. Obviously you do not have enough knoweledge about things like this, but yet you are still going to allow him to finger you. Making it worse, 1 month isn't a very long time either. I don't know why, but it seems like things are being rushed. Remember, you have plenty of time for this kind of stuff. I could give you plenty of advice, but overall it is your decision, and you're going to choose what you wanna do.
I suggest you have a shower before he does this, and wash "down there" good. The last thing you need is an embarrassing odor. You don't have to do anything while it happens. Just sit back and let him do what he's doing...
