After I recover from a sickness I usually have a very bad cough. Last year this happened to me and it was during school. I had to leave the classroom and go to the bathroom for a while. I almost threw up many times. I am super afraid of throwing up so how do I avoid this? In school and at home?

Maybe give some free advice about: Illnesses? strawberrylover answered Saturday February 18 2012, 11:35 pm: this happens when the you have a dry cough, as a resulted of being in dry heated air which irritates the throat even more so after an illness. when coughing so hard your body is just trying to get rid of anything that's causing the bad cough. others causes can be irritants in the air, asthma, and allergies. if this happens again i would talk with a doctor to make sure its nothing serious in the mean time if your classes allow it i would carry around a water bottle to drink to stop the cough from getting any worse and to settle your nauseous stomach also drinking something warm like tea can helped soothe your sore throat and stomach
