As someone who is agnostic but leans more to the side of evolution, I don't know what to say. I think people take the whole "spreading the word of god" thing a little too far to the point of trying to shove it down people's throats.

I'm fourteen, soon to be fifteen. I feel attracted to both genders. I know that people may say "Oh it's just a phase or horomones", but hear me out.
As long as I can remember, probably even since I was eight, I've been attracted to the female body. Ever since, I've just been trying to push those feelings away or to avoid them. Those feelings never went away. I still feel an attraction to both men and women. I actually even had my first kiss with a girl, and also dated her. I don't know what my sexuality is. Bisexual?
Also, if I was bisexual, I need advice... I think my dad is homophobic. He denies it, but he thinks it's disgusting when he sees gays. He even said, "Bisexuals are even worse. How can you like both? It makes no sense". I didn't really say much. My mom would probably not care much, which is good, but my dad... I honestly don't even feel like telling them that I'm bisexual if I were to be because it's not their business and it would save drama and anxiety. (link)

From just your little description of being attracted to both genders I would say you're bisexual. However, as you get older if his truly isn't a phase (because it is for some people), you MAY find that your sexual orientation changes. Sexuality is very fluid so it's a very common thing.
I remember thinking I was bisexual only later to realize I'm a lesbian, only later to realize I'm also pan romantic. However, don't focus too much on finding the correct identity for yourself yet. You may feel stressed if you can't find something to "call yourself" but finding your identity could take a while, as it did with me so put that on the back burner for now. As hard as it may seem, just go with the flow. Don't think, just feel. Easier said than done but you'll get the hang of it.
As for your dad, unfortunately people have that view on bisexuals. It's a horrible stereotype or stigma attached to them. No you don't have to pick one or the other; you can appreciate both of them. Don't listen to anyone who tries to invalidate your feelings. My dad is very homophobic as well; reason why after so many years I still haven't come out.

Listen, at 9 you are not educated on the reproductive system by any means which means that you should not be engaging in sexual activity.

I just got my Forward Helix pierced on January 30th. I have had it for 4 days. Just recently it has started to itch,it only hurts when I touch it, it is swollen just a little, I have cleaned it as i was told. Tonight I ran a q-tip behind the back and got some crusty type stuff. I am just wondering and hoping that this is all part of the healing process. I know it takes time for it to heal. just hoping its not getting infected or my body is rejecting it!! So any advice will help. If it doesn't get any better I will contact my piercer I went to or my doctor. (link)

I have 10 piercings and crusting is totally normal. Part of the healing process is having discharge and with that discharge crusting is inevitable. Swelling can be normal as well, I mean, you have a piece of metal through your skin! Just keep and eye on it, do the regular cleaning you do and don't play with or touch it often. That irritates it!

First of all your friend is wrong. You don't HAVE to. Coming out is for when you're ready, the right time.
Being your parents are homophobic and Christian there isn't much room for hope of acceptance. The thing you have to remember is that you have to make sure you are safe over anything. Many LGBT youth are kicked out of their homes and I don't want the same for you. I am also a lesbian and haven't come out to my parents because I feared being kicked out. Being almost 19 now I will be leaving for university in the fall and will tell them there because I will at least have a place to live. Don't feel the need to tell them because your friend says so. Your safety comes first.
It will be a burden sometimes but you will be okay. Just don't jeopardize your situation right now. Best of luck xx

I will tell you from experience, guys take SO MANY things as flirting. Just don't be extra nice I guess I would say. Don't seem overly nice because he could confuse that as flirting. Try your best not to act cutesy around him either. If conversation happens between you two, just be bland about it. Its hard for men to take hints so you have to try as hard as possible not to convey any type of flirting actions.Good luck!

You answered my question about making a job change recently. After initially accepting the offer, I recanted and turned it down. Later that day the HR Manager left me a voicemail stating management really liked me and wanted to sweeten the offer. I called this morning. Instead of making an offer, she asked me what it would take to get me to come. I gave her a number that was 6% more than what Iwas offered, but still well within the stated salary range. She later sent an email saying she gave the proposal to management and that they were going to pursue other candidates. They didn't even make a counter offer, and said they really didn't think I wanted the job. I thought it was bizarre. (link)

My friend found a baby kitten at her work and I ended up taking it because she couldn't. It looks about no more than 2 weeks. It can bearly hold its head up and shakes when it walks, its eyes are fully open and it fits in the palm of your hand. I have a bottle for it and it takes a few drinks then pushes away. How do you know how much to feed it? Do you know exactly how old it i? Do you know what I need to do for a kitten this young? Please help!!! (link)

I don't have any knowledge about kittens at all. My best best would be to contact and animal shelter or the SPCA. Tell them that you found a kitten you want to keep and would like to know the proper procedures and caring instructions. They know all of this stuff so it would be far better than looking for answers online.

i have been confused about what i should be, i am a female that is more comfortable dressing in male clothes, i act more masculine then i do feminine however i do have certain female traits that keeping coming out (maternal - from when i was a step mum). i have been reading up and considering going through with a sex change operation. the only thing that is holding me back is i want kids and want to be able to conceive naturally. If you go through transitioning it is possible to not change your reproductive organs. You can takebhirmones that change your levels of testosterone which will give you more "manly" features all while keeping your reproductive part the same. BUT you will have to, well it would be ideal to keep your breasts. Even if you bind them. Studies show that it's healthier (most of the time) to breast feed your child. Yes you can use formula if you really desire top surgery. Of course how you conceive will depend on your sexuality. If you choose to end up with a man after transitioning you can obviously do it the natural way. If you end up with a woman, there are sperm diners or the use of female bone narrow which is being tested. This is quite a complex situation. Most females want to transition fully and not conceive the baby but to each their own. Good luck!

My mom constantly makes fun of me and I've had it I'm 13 years old I I'm a guy get average grades and I DONT KNOW EVERYTHING. Recent events struck the match and put on the line but today the TNT exploded and I can't take it anymore. I've had therapy and my mom lied just so she can be right. She does this also. But the thing that lit the match was how she mocks me just earlier today, I was loading my dishwasher and there was this vegetable grater we had that we NEVER USED so I asked her. " where in the dishwasher can I put this?"she said "I can figure it out", so I said "but we've never used it and Evan if we have I've never had to put it in the dishwasher" then she started mocking my voice and saying stuff that really made me cry. And the worst part... I over heard her talking to a friend, she said," my method of parenting is to torment and tamper with there feelings so they will start acting mature. I told her I heard what she said and how the method made me feel. And she said she'll try something different. It didn't even last a week. I just gave up and started a journal but she keeps reading it and writing in it, then she uses
It to haunt me later in LIfe. so I have no choice but to use my
phone and make sure I keep it on me at all times I change my password frequently and make sure she doesn't touch it and if she does I go on my iPad and select it, copy it, then delete it and when she asked why I go on my iPad when she looks at my phone I say I need to check on a downloading app or remembered I had to do something I don't know what to do (link)

I\'m really sorry to hear this and I will try to offer you the best advice I can without being there to see everything that happens.
I don\'t want to say your mom is bad or good, but obviously something is not working. I will take your word that she says and does this stuff.
If she reads your journal, maybe it\'s best you didn\'t have one. She is clearly hurting you by reading it and using it so either you try your best to stop using it, or find a really good hiding spot. Maybe in your drawers under some clothes, under your mattress, somewhere in your closet. Try and find a place where she wouldn\'t look or it would be hard to find.
As for the phone situation, keep it on you at all times and make sure you type in your password secretly so she doesn\'t see it. If you go to the bathroom, take it with you. If you go get something to eat, have it with you. And if you can\'t take it with you for some reason find a hiding spot. Wrapped in clothes in your drawers, under the mattress etc.
She shouldn\'t be treating you this way at all. Do you have a father in your life? If so, talk to him about it. If not, maybe a trusted adult, a friend? Continue to talk to your mom about how she makes you feel, and if you ever need more advice, I\'d be more than happy to give some.

As a fellow lesbian, I know your problem. I had a guy actually ask me out on a date, fully knowing I\'m into girls....but that\'s a whole other story.
For me I hate having to come out to every guy that take interest in me because it\'s tedious,you get asked all sorts of questions,sometimes they don\'t take that as an answer etc. Instead maybe just say you\'re not interested in them. That way you don\'t have to come out to them. If they already know you\'re into girls, tell em to bug off.
I think you may not be totally sure of your sexuality. To a lot of girls dating a girl sounds better but they don\'t actually pursue a relationship with one. Sexuality is very fluid so don\'t be so quick to label yourself yet. I have gone through many stages of being unsure and everything so for now I remain no label, but 99.9% sure I\'m a lesbian. So me and my friend were getting revenge on these 2 girls. Yes I know it's bad, and I learned my lesson. But they found out and said that tomorrow I would be sorry. I don't know if I want to tell the teachers either, because then they will talk to her about it. Then she'll know and try to hurt me even more because i'm a "snitch". First of all, how old are you? If you\'re in elementary school then I have been in this situation before. Not so much in high school. Sometimes a guy will do those things if he likes you. Guys show emotions differently and they don\'t always know how to express it or don\'t want to seem too sensitive so they follow up the playful pushing with teasing. My advice would be to wait it out a little bit, see how it goes. Just make sure if he\'s making fun of you and actually hurting your feelings, let him know. Best of luck!

I'm 14 and I've noticed that there is always this thick layer or white stuff, it's not gooey or slimey or wet. It's not inside my vagina but on the inside around my vulva, it's really embarrassing and I don't think I could tell mum or a doctor. I've always thought it could be toilet paper? Not sure.

It could be discharge if it doesn\'t have an odor to it. Sometimes it comes in that form. If it does have an odor or appear to be a bit more yellowish sometimes in colour, then it could be a yeast infection. Every female gets one at least once in their life. You have to take note of the odor, and if it may be itchy in that area. If anything, although embarrassing at first, talk to your mom about it. She knows more about the female body at her age. I am going to be buying a "new used" car pretty soon. I got a new job recently and I will be able to afford the payments. Im looking to spend somewhere in the $18-25,000 range. I don't want to buy something I'll regret with that amount of money. I have never bought from a dealership before.
What are some tips? What are some things I should look out for (Any salesmen tricks I should be wary of, or extra things that I shouldn't be paying for?) I'm a girl in my 20s that knows pretty much nothing about cars (other than how to fill up oil and change a tire-the basics) and I totally expect to be taken advantage of when it comes to cars. I'm not stupid but there's a lot of car stuff I don't know.
So anything helps, really. I'm going to do some test drives this weekend. I've researched and decided on a couple of different makes and models based on extensive internet searches and reviews. I would like to be prepared before I go.
