U can't "become" anorexic. It's a mental health condition. That's like saying you're choosing to be bipolar or a sociopath.

Anorexia is not the answer to losing weight!!! it is a severe mental disorder and never a diet. You can get health problems for the rest of your life from being anorexic!!! I would recomend trying to love your body for who you are! trust me, everyone buys a pair of pants that don't fit at some point in their life!
love yourself!

Being anorexic isn't the answer because one it's a disease and two it isn't the right way to lose weight. A girl that is anorexic has a disease that takes over what she thinks about her body she doesn't just become anorexic. If you aren't happy with the way you look just change your eating habits and exercise a bit more. That's a healthier and safer way to lose weight.

That's not going to be the solution to your problem. Sometimes I get that idea in my head but I know it just leads to more and more health problems.
Just start eating right and exercising. I'm sure you are fine the way you are but if you want to lose weight, do it the right way and exercise and eat good food. You'll be fine and look good.

I know that Anorexia seems like a quick fix, but it is truly an illness. I was diagnosed with Anorexia three years ago. Looking back, I wasn't even fat. I just THOUGHT I was since I wasn't as skinny as the other girls my age. It started as just eating less at dinner and skipping breakfast, and then pretty soon I was skipping meals all together. I would go weeks at a time where all I ate during the day was a stick of celery. I didn't realize how skinny I was getting because all I cared about was losing weight and being pretty. When I look back on pictures, I looked DISGUSTING, because I looked like a skeleton. I tried to stop but I physically couldn't, my body rejected food. I was hospitalized after I had dropped to 80 lbs. That is why I am so adamant about keeping girls from harmful "dieting". They don't realize that you can't just skip food. In order to look good, you have to have nourishment from food. Lack of food will make you weak and IT WILL SHOW. Try eating healthier but regularly, and maybe excersing. Hope I could help and good luck.

You may think that being anorexic is the solution to your problem, but it is definetly not. Being anorexic can cause just as much problems as someone being overweight. All you have to do is approach it with a positive healthy attitude. With the right encouragement, determination and lifestyle change, you can become the body size you want to be. If you still are thinking about it, I would seek some professional help.

Anorexia and Bulimia can have the somewhat of the same downfalls.

Anorexia can cause decreased heartbeat

Low Blood Sugar

Infertility

The possibility of your organs shutting down

Hair loss, Tooth Decay

Fragile bones, Risk for heart failure

DEATH

Seriously, If you want to loose weight go about it the HEALTHY way by eating portion sizes of fruits, vegetables make sure you get plenty of protein *Fish, Eggs, Chicken,* It can be done as long as you have the right mind set. Bulimia nor Anorexia IS NOT THE ANSWER to your problems.

If you feel you are at risk then please seek professional help, This is not a normal way of thinking!
