Happens to me too on the first day when I don't take medication. It's cuz of the pain mostly. It's nothing to worry about, but I wouldn't make the throwing up a habit everytime I was on my period. Try your best to avoid it.

I have to agree with smileydino.

All throughout high school.. and even now.. I still throw up when I get my period. My doctor put me on birth control for that reason (and I did not abuse it just to have sex because I was on it.) The birth control helped me a lot, but I came off of it recently to battle out the pain a tad bit more. If you go this option, try to come off of it after 2-3 years...that way your body does not become resistant to the birth control.

Hope I helped.. if you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask. ;D

I've thrown up a few times, because of the pain. Luckily it's not that extreme every month!
Sadly, some people do experience this when on their period - Do you feel yours are rather heavy? Do you get other bad symptoms, such as hot flushes which can make you feel sick?
Either way, you should visit your doctor - you don't have to suffer with it. :)

You throw up because of your horrific cramps! Do you take any prescribed medicine for it? Perhaps Midol or something to relieve the pain? Or maybe a heating pad? xoxo
