All throughout high school.. and even now.. I still throw up when I get my period. My doctor put me on birth control for that reason (and I did not abuse it just to have sex because I was on it.) The birth control helped me a lot, but I came off of it recently to battle out the pain a tad bit more. If you go this option, try to come off of it after 2-3 years...that way your body does not become resistant to the birth control.

Sadly, some people do experience this when on their period - Do you feel yours are rather heavy? Do you get other bad symptoms, such as hot flushes which can make you feel sick?
Either way, you should visit your doctor - you don't have to suffer with it. :) [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
