Will my hair turn green if I go swimming?
Can anyone give me advice on my hair coz I was wondering if I can go swimming tomorrow in the local swimming pool. But ive bleached my hair blonde yesterday night. I what to know if it will turn green or if anything will happen?? please help me!!

Yes it will! I was a hairdresser when younger and have seen a few cases of hair turning green. I know a cheap quick remedy if it does,use tomato ketchup it counteracts it,and lemons are good too. But watch it doesnt go in your eyes.

You need to wait to go swimming. Also, did you just bleach it, or is there a color over that? If it is just bleach, it may well turn green anyway, but if there is a color on top of that, or a toner, it is less likely to. Either way, don't go swimming for a little while.

It depends on what kind of chlorine is used in the pool. But, I wouldn't chance it for AT LEAST a week.

No one can tell you EXACTLY what will happen -- but I was always taught not to expose freashly dyed or bleached hair to clorine for at least 3 days.
So, I wouldn't do it.
