Yeah there are plenty of hinge I know if I'm overdressed I skip mine and it's regular when your young to have an irregular period. Also other factors could be gaining or losing lots of weight as well if u don't get it for 3 months go to the doctor.

Girls get their period between 8-16 sometimes even 18.
You cannot do something to slow it down or speed it up. It comes as your body chages,She is perfectly fine and healthy.

If you're friend engages in sports with heavy workout loads (this is especially true in gymnastics and track) that could delay the onset of her period.

But absent that, her genes will determine when she will begin ovulating, so she will just have to sit back and let nature takes its course.

Everyone starts their cycles are different times and other times there could be many factors that are causing delays such as;

Dieting, Weight loss, Weight gain, Illness, Depression, Stress etc.

If she is concerned then she should make an appointment with a gynecologist.

Doctors have started saying that a girls first period is triggered by her weight and not the age. If she is truly concerned, she should see a gynecologist. I hope this helps and good luck.

Its normal not to have your period until you're older. My friend didnt get hers until she was 16. I didn't get mine until I was 13. She's just fine. If you're that concerned about it, tell her to go to the doctors and see if everything is ok.
