The easiest way to make peanut butter cookies, with a cup of peanut better a cup or sugar and one egg. set oven for 350 and bake for 8-10 minutes.

its really fool-proof, I have made it a LOT of times and it always end up perfect. Even people who i have taught have made it perfectly good!
you will come up with about 50 cookies.
Aside from an oven you need a big mixing bowl, wire whisk and rubber scraper, a fork and baking sheets. (if you have an electric mixer that would be better, but mixing this by hand is fine)
Please use standard measuring cups and spoons and level the ingredients so it will be accurate! and we will have the same yummy results!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon fine salt
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed tightly
2 large eggs
Procedure:
Pre heat your oven.
Mix all the ingredients until blended well.
Form into balls.
Put on Ungreased baking sheets. Make sure it has a space of an inch apart.
Flatten with a fork making a criss cross pattern.
Bake at 350F for about 12 minutes.Let it cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy!

This is the recipe that my wife uses:
Ingredients:
* 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 cup shortening
* 1/2 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 egg
Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder; set aside.
Thoroughly mix shortening, peanut butter, and sugars; beat in vanilla and egg.
Stir in flour mixture, blending well. Shape mixture into 3/4-inch balls; place on greased baking sheets.
Flatten each cookie with the tines of a fork; dip fork in flour periodically to keep it from sticking to the peanut butter cookie dough.
Bake peanut butter cookies at 375° for about 10 to 12 minutes.
