Emma-Jayne answered Monday January 18 2010, 7:51 am: A 10 year old is going through rapid development change, he will need consistancy to optimise his physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Get him outdoors, take him to the playground, go to a themepark, on walks, do things together. Or maybe go see a movie or the aquarium, there are many options you can do outside the family home. But if your financially unable to (as well as transport) you may result to things like playing backyard cricket or football, or getting out board games to try or maybe he can have a friend over while your parents are out. You might offer for him to bring a friend if that's an option. He might like to go to the movies. He might like to play a board game with you or you could sketch some drawings with him. You could also play catch with him in the backyard or the park. [ ilovelabor's advice column | Ask ilovelabor A Question ]
