I don't take the pill, I'm on the shot. But I started out on the pill, then the nuva ring, now the shot. Between each of those I wasn't taken birth control, so every time I saw my doctor he told me to give it at lest a month be4 the birth control kicks in [that includes the pill]. So yes you could probably get prego.

i really like the nuva ring, cuz you only take it our for a week witch is the week you will have your period. but you gotta get a new ring every month, i get the debo shot and i really like it cuz i only go every 3 months, & im pretty much payin the same i paid for the nuva ring, but only every 3 months. But they say u don't have period during the shot, but i have had a period with it...i have only gotten the shot twice so i pretty much just started it....

I'm not sure about the specifics of your particular birth control pill. However, I know in most cases they take a while (more than a few days) to come into effect. You cannot rely on this pill until it has come into complete effect, which I suspect will be around a month. Check the box, or call your doctor for specifics.
Regarding the condom, if it broke there is a very good chance you could have gotten pregnant. The good news is that you still have a few days to get a "morning after" pill (like Plan B). You need to take it within a few days of having sex, and the sooner you can take it the better. There will be no real way to know until you get your period (or not) or take a pregnancy test a few days before you should be getting your period. If you take Plan B as soon as possible, though, your chances of unwanted pregnancy are much slimmer.

Yes. You have to be on birth control for a minimum of a week for it to even start to be effective. If you really don't want to get pregnant, get Plan B.

It is very possible to become pregnant at this time in the game. Birth control doesnt really kick in until about the first cycle, meaning about a month of bith control.

There is always a chance of pregnancy. But with that said, birth control doesn't come into full effect until about a month of taking it, every day. Your body has to get used to it.

I would stay calm, and is there a way you can get Plan B? It's a contraceptive taken within 2 days of your last sexual encounter and it prevents pregnancy. You can get it at a pharmacy and also google it for more info. If you can't get that, just relax and take a pregnancy test in a couple weeks to make sure. I highly doubt you are pregnant though, from the info I gathered from your question.
