So it was recently Christmas, and I had no idea what to get my boyfriend. I knew anything I got him would not be special enough, and I looked and looked and time just kind of slipped by and I didn't end up getting him anything. He got me something really nice. He was really hurt that I didn't get him anything. I regret it now, but I can't change that, so please don't bug me about it.
Question: What can I surprise him with that would make him really happy? (If any of you suggest sex I will rate you badly)

Jackieee answered Saturday January 10 2009, 3:03 pm: For my boyfriends birthday, I got him the Ironman DVD and a nice, soft Aeropostale hooded sweatshirt, which last night he actually told me he wears a lot because it's so soft and comfortable. And then for Christmas, I bought him 2 reeeaaaallllly soft t-shirts from American Eagle and a pair of boxers that said "naughty" all over them (lol), and he told me he loved soft clothing, if that helps. I'd suggest something not too over-the-top, something nice. Clothes seems to be what's easiest as of now for me. My sister got her (now ex) boyfriend Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana, and it smells sooo good! So if you want to do a nice cologne and a shirt or something that's a good idea. Maybe a DVD or CD with cologne or CD with a hoodie...just mix and match, I'm sure he'll like it. Make sure to get a gift reciept so worst case scenario, he doesn't and he returns it and then he can spend the money on whatever he wants :]

kristamikele answered Tuesday January 6 2009, 1:25 pm: The trick is to pick up on something that he wouldn't expect you to notice. Believe it, or not, most guys really do appreciate socks and underwear, or something that he would have had to buy for himself. Don't worry about doing the "romantic" thing. Spend the next day on a mission, and the answer will come to you out of the blue. [ kristamikele's advice column | Ask kristamikele A Question ]
Disconnected answered Tuesday January 6 2009, 12:43 pm: Maybe you could get him tickets to his favorite band or a sports game?
www.livenation.com is amazing for concerts :)
Or perhaps a limited edition of something he loves?
My closest guy friend is a HUUGUGGEEEEEEEE fan of Machine Head (band) and since he's been having some rough times, I got him a limited edition CD/DVD set and he was really surprised and happy.
I hope this helped! [ Disconnected's advice column | Ask Disconnected A Question ]
laynemayhem answered Tuesday January 6 2009, 12:24 pm: id get him some really nice cologne. : i have the same problem as you. my bf got me jewelry and i just couldnt find the time to go to the mall and get him something, so he got nothing. idk if he's "hurt" by it, but i wouldnt call sex a christmas present.
idk what else to suggest. i think girls are easy to shop for, but boys hate jewelry and clothes and makeup (obviously) so cologne is all i can think of. sorry. :
