wispy ends

how do you tell your hair dresser you want wispy ends, they don't seem to understand the phrase, its like a pixie-cut's ends, like its all wispy. i don't know how else to put it and to describe it, any help will do.

Tell them you want your hair "thinned" and they'll know what you're talking about. This means that they either take thinning scissors to the ends after the cut is finished, or they will use regular scissors, but cut vertically into the ends. Another way of saying it is to "take the weight off the ends".

Getting your hair to be wispy is just a matter of styling, but you do need your hair thinned to get it like that.

You should bring in a picture of what you mean. We all have different thoughts when it comes to things. Like if you said you wanted your hair brown.. everyone has different views when it comes to brown, since there are so many shades of it. You might want a chestnut brown but they give you mahogany.

Hey that's just what I got done, hat I did was find a hairstyle just like it online or in a magazine then show her. BUT it does have a name, I am not certain what it is called but you can say tappered at the ends. That's what I would suggest

I don't know what it's called, but ask your hairdresser to hold his or her scissors vertically and cut into your hair.

You can look up hairstyle find one your talking about print it out and give to the hairdresser. or you can go to www.seventeen.com they have a hairstyle solon that you uplaod your picture, you can put different hair style on it. it maybe have what your want.
