A Pep Rally is something cheerleaders usually hold before a big football or basketball game to get the school pumped up. They introduce players, play fun games, and perform for their school.

The best thing you can do to avoid drama in highschool is keep to yourself. Don't talk about people, keep your opinions to yourself, and if you know a secret/gossip about someone, keep it to yourself and don't tell anyone. Even then though, you can't avoid it completely. It's inevitable in school.

I'm a Senior this year, and my goal is to not get involved in drama too! I've been in it every single year since 6th grade, so maybe things will be better this year. =]

Pep rally is to pump up people's spirit before a big event etc.. anyways! DRAMA!!! HAHA! Avoid drama girls first, they'll be all "u dated my ex! i hate u" blah blah blah, then avoid bad friends aka back stabbers, avoid anything that looks like you shouldn't get yourself into :) lol to be honest anything that involves bad friends or bad relationship means dont get into it, dont gossip, stay clean :) thats how u avoid drama and people talking about you, dress cleanly can have a big affect because if you dress all slutty or trampy, people talk...ALOT! that'll be all haha good-luck and highschool isn't that bad, you'll get use to it

pep rallies are something that schools have to show pep and spirit. usually cheerleaders come up and do drills and the sports teams with winning streaks come out and show off. its basically a jock thing.
if my DRAMA you mean as in the elective, just dont audition for it.
if by drama you mean like as in drama queen.... then just stay low and dont get too close to the bitchy cheerleaders...

hope that helped!!

Pep rallies are when your school gets together and gets pepped up for a game or whatever the school is celebrating.
To avoid drama in high school, don't talk about people behind their backs. Don't tell secrets. Don't be mean to people and call them names. Don't hang out with people that are in drama a lot. For example, i am not a girl that gets into drama but i once had a friend who was constantly in drama and she brought me into it a lot and that's when i realized i wasn't going to hang out with her or people like her anymore. Those are some ways that you can avoid drama. Hope this helps!

I agree with the other adviser.

There is basically no way to avoid drama in HS. It's virtually impossible.

Best thing you can do to tone down any type of drama is to have a solid head on your shoulders and your feet firmly on the ground.

cheers,

A pep rally is an assembly of sorts before fall/winter/spring homecoming games. It's a great way to encourage school spirit and go crazy. Cheerleaders may do routines and stunts, the school band may play music, and the sports teams are introduced. It's a lot of fun!

As far as avoiding drama ... Well, I'd like to think I live a pretty drama-free life. I've experienced bouts of drama and stress, but overall my life tends to be calm.

Know who you are and who your friends are. This is key -- true friends won't create unnecessary drama. Don't abandon these friends for the popular group. If you hear gossip, stop it. Tell the person that you do not care and that if they truly cared, they would confront the gossipee. Avoid fights and arguments. They're a major cause of drama. It's okay to tell someone you have had enough and just walk off. Really, don't lie. And don't tell your secrets to people you don't trust. This seems obvious enough, but it's a mistake people make. Your true friends won't spill these secrets, but fake friends will.

Also, be positive. Negative people let drama get to them. And write down your feelings. If you keep them to yourself, they'll just continue to bother you. Unfortunately life isn't drama-free. But if you stay true to yourself and confront your feelings, high school will be great.

Pep rallys are when your whole school gets together in the gym/cafe/auditorium usually before a big game or event. Typically, there is cheering, dancing, teams are intoduced, games are played etc.

Avoiding drama: Its nearly impossible. I will tell you a few hints, talk bad about no one. You can never know who to fully trust, so keep your gossiping to yourself if you're really serious about drama. Stay out of drinking, drugs, sex and boys in general. Say only nice things and don't express your opinions.

Sounds like a lot of rules that suck? Well they are. If you wanna actually enjoy your high school and live it up, drama is going to happen. Usually its not serious, so try not to get too worked up about it.
