You should NEVER have sex in front of child no matter how old that child is. You would not believe how much children notice things. They also can remember stuff from way back in their childhood and come out with it years later.
If you`re having sex in front of your child you need to stop right away.

I think it's all just personal opinion.

I see nothing wrong with having sex while your baby is sleeping in a near by basinet. Perfectly fine.

But once they start crawling, walking, saying words, or showing signs of knowing what's going on, it's time to hang it up, and have sex quietly in another room.

If the baby can see, he's looking. Some children can remember very early events in their life. Not a good thing to be brought up later.

Hmmm... I think about 12 months, or about the time they're really becoming aware of what's going on around them. A baby that age won't know what's going on, but it might be scary to them ("Daddy's hurting mommy!").
