I don't think it's necessarily good OR bad. I think it just means that he acts differently around you... which is pretty normal. Guys can be pretty goofy around their buddies; they do and say things that some girls might find offense, irritating or just plain immature. Your boyfriend likes and respects you, so of course he doesn't want to make a bad impression.
Also, it's normal to be a little shy and quiet around someone you really like, but don't know that well yet. Once you get to know each other a little better, he'll feel more comfortable and will probably loosen up some. ]
Most people act differently depending on whom they hang out with. If you are quieter and less "obnoxious" so to speak, he'll adjust the way he acts accordingly. It's not good or bad, that being said, it's kinda cute that he's showing this other side of himself to you =]. ]
Most guys are like that...boys feel they have to ACT a certain way around girls for them to be liked.Just let him know he can trust you and he'll act the same way around you he does his friends...so it can go either way.
Hope i helped

i don't see how it's bad.
that's usually how some guys are. they might be obnoxious and loud with their friends but not around you, because he likes you. He doesn't want to look 'stupid or obnoxious" in front of you. If he's quiet or shy around you, then he must really like you. Just make him feel more comfortable around you or give it some time for him to open up.
I guess it depends on how you are when you're with him. If you're quiet too then it's probably awkward? ]
This is probably bad, it sounds like he is embarrassed at the way she acts around his friends. It seems like he is saying that she acts differently around you than around you and his friends. You probably need to talk to him and see what he means and maybe even let your friend know she is being immature.
Hope I Helped. ]
