Frisky Kitty

Question Posted Saturday March 29 2008, 4:35 pm

My brothers girlfriends 1yo Cat is very frisky and the apartment she lives in wants her to get rid of Tigger because he's having sex with all the other cats. Well that's really sad so I sad I would take him but my parents don't know about it. I'm already cleaning my room, being a perfect angel and paying for te expenses of the cat.
I need to make a very good arguement so i can keep Tigger because I dont want him put down

try telling your parents how you have been taking good care of him for a while without them even noticing, and just try to convince them that you can be responsible

hope i helped(:

Why put the animal down? It's a 1-year-old cat and perfectly healthy. If anything you should get him neutered as that may reduce his sex drive. You can't fault him for acting like a male cat would.

You should tell your parents about the cat and his possible fate. Explain that you're already forking out cash to help your brother's girlfriend care for it.

If they won't allow you to keep him I'm sure they'll help you find him a home or a shelter where he will be well cared for and find a loving home. Unless an animal is dangerous, unfriendly, unpredictable shelters and humane societies do not put them down.

well, despite the whole thing with the having sex with the other cats, tell your parents the other things that make tigger a great cat. maybe do some research so they'll see how responsible you are, and tell them about taking care of it and cleaning the bedroom and all that. if you explain to them calmly why you would like to keep the cat, and then show them the research and the clean room. i hope you get to keep it =]]]

-call vets or shelters see if you can get a voucher to get him fixed, usualy calms them down a bit.
-tell them you have a schedual, "i will clean his kitty box every day at night time and put it in its own bag and into the trash outside"
-call vets and ask how much the shots cost and how to help him calm down and stuff like that so you will be prepared for any questions they shoot at you.

anyways i hope you get to keep Tigger! im sure hell turn out to be a sweetie
