Anyways, it's not about what you weigh. I look like I'm 100 lbs but I'm actually 115 because I'm very fit and toned. So if it's looks you are trying to change, do 30 mins of cardio 3-5 times per week, and do weight training 2-3 times per week. Cardio will burn the fat and weights will get you toned (not bulky like a man, but nice a toned). Good luck!! [ ellegirl606's advice column | Ask ellegirl606 A Question ]

uisforukelele answered Friday March 14 2008, 7:30 pm: If you are five feet tall or taller, you should not lose weight. If you were 4'10", then it would be okay for you to lose ten pounds, but you are not overweight. When I was 14, I weighed 120 pounds, and I still weigh that much. If you want to change the way you look, however, try to tone muscle, not lose fat. Eating healthy is key. Losing weight and toning your body are two totally different things. Sima answered Friday March 14 2008, 7:08 pm: My mom still had some post baby weight to take off, so what she did for about 2 months, was eat less, but still eat fibrous foods [they make you feel fuller without overeating], and she took a light jog every other day for 30 minutes with stretching in between. She also started eating frozen foods [they are moderate and generally low in fat, carbs, calories, but still provide tons of protein qand potassium]. They're pretty good, actually, I just finished eating like a chicken basil panini with avocado sauce which really wasn't that bad, actually.
Here's what you should do:
- Eat food with fiber
- Take a light jog every other day
- Stretch in between
- Eat more fruits and vegetables
- Limit portions of food
- Eliminate fatty potato chips, and other snacks, and replace them with baked, light, fat-free versions
- EAT BREAKFAST, DRINK WATER, AND GET ENOUGH SLEEP. [most important]. [ Sima's advice column | Ask Sima A Question ]
schochie16 answered Friday March 14 2008, 6:40 pm: Ok i think i need to point out that you should not loose weight. you should just tone up your body. also, i'm 13/f and 117 and i'm still one of the tiniest girls in my class. i run so my lower body is very musculer. i think that if you don't want your legs to be over musculated--if thats a word just exercise in a bunch of different ways and rather than focas on what your not eating focas on what you are eating. eat the right amount of all the food groups a day and drink 8 glasses of water
