So, I'm dating a man I've known for a long time. I'm white and he's black. When people see photos of us together or hear about him, for some reason they always have to comment and say things like 'Oh he's black..." or "I'd never thought /you'd/ date a black guy."
I don't understand what the problem is personnaly, I love him and he's so fantastic.
I was wondering though, when you see a white girl and a black man, what do you automaticaly assume or think? Just interested to know.

I like to see a Black guy and a white girl together. It mixies things up and shows that people are finally looking in a person instead of there skin color. I incourge you to as loung as you love him stay with him dont let other people effect your relationship. Soon we could even have a black president even.

I got the piercing done last year, professionally,with parental permission.

Last year I'd always wear normal t-shirts to school, so no one saw it, and no one knew, except my close friends that I told.
This year I've been wearing lower cut tops, but basically no one has noticed it.
Today I wore a top that was quite low cut and I was asking a (male)teacher about a homework assignment, and since the top was quite low, I guess he noticed the piercing (it wasn't like he looked down my top) and he asked me quietly ''erm...is that a chest piercing'' with a confused look on his face.
Now I'm kinda embarrassed and it's a bit awkward in his class, and the thing is that he's the coolest teacher ever, and I get along with him fine.

basically, i have been crushin on this guy for a while, and i think he might like me back. he is always kinda flirting with me when we see each other, but i am not sure. last night, me and my friend both talked to him on the phone, and i asked my friend what he thought (he is bisexual), and he said that he really thinks he might be. he acts just like both of us did before we would even admit to ourselves that we liked guys. he acts super homophobic, if you ask him how he thinks another guy looks he will say "i dont know, im not gay". i mean, he just acts like he is in the closet. he is a christian, but i was too for a while. i am not sure, he is kind of hot, and i would like to go out with him, but i am not sure he likes me like that. is there i way i could be more sure if he does or not? and please dont say things like "you need to just let him know how you feel" or "you need to ask him if he does". thank you for your help (link)

I would wait for him to open up to you he is gay he could posibbley be shy and mabe denying the fact that he is gay but i would wait for a while give him some sort of sighn that you like him alittle bit more then a friend threw like eye contact with out going to far because that could freak him out and stuff but if nothing happens eventully move on...

Stand up and breath with your belly instead of your chest like babies do it helps control your breathing.
p.s its takes awhile but wacthing a baby breathing will spead the learning process.

i dont smoke that much, only about 1-3 cigs a day. my bf smokes too, and he's who i get my cigs from. we always split a pack until the next time i get to see him, with is usually within a week. so yeah.
well i went to the store the other day and got a really good smelling candle and a thing of febreze so i could spray it everytime im done smoking to get rid of the smell of burnt tobacco. and its been working! but my friend told me today that if i keep smoking in my room that im going to get YELLOW STAINS ON MY FRICKEN WALL.
is this true?? cuz no one besides her and my bf and my bf's friend know that i smoke. and if my rents found out they'd KILL ME. so if that IS the case, how would i get rid of the stains...and also even though my little febreze and candle thing is working, does anyone know a really good way to get rid of the smell of cigs??
so i guess my questions are:
A)do i really get yellow stains on my wall?
B)if so, how do i get rid of them?
C)what is a really good product that gets rid of the smell?

YESS you do get stains on your wall from smoking.I had to clean my grandmas[smoker] house and she had yellow stains all over her wall GROSS i asked what they were from and she said smoking anyway we had to clean them of the wall because she cant smoke any more because she has a air machine so she could like explode if she smokes,so we used erase sponges that gets most of it of but they dont go away untell you paint over them. And air fresheners work to get the smell out and fans and keep your windows WIDE open when you smoke...

im currently a sophomore. im on jv this year and im captain. i tried out today for varsity for next years squad and did not make it. the varsity coach said im the next alternate for varsity if someone on varsity quits. she said i was 25 points away and i was so close. im the only junior that made the jv team for next year. its so embarassing! i dont want to do jv again but im worried if i dont and a girl gets hurt, i could have been on varsity. i just dont want to do the whole year on jv being the ONLY junior and get made fun of, but i really want to make varsity if someone quits. i just dont wanna get crap for being the oldest but im dying to get on varsity! please give me advice?!?! Well if you really love this sport i would stay. And it will show people your dedication to your sport and mabe a girl will drop out stuff happens but if this is your sport you should stick with it pluse it will keep you fit and if you keep going there is still collage. Some people dont make there highschool teams but that dosent stop them like for example Michel jordan he dident make his highschool team but he made it to like the NBA!
I would just walk away from those people giving you crap they are going to stop after a couple days anyways...

My older sister is almost 20, still living in our parents house, un-employed, and about to quit college. My dad doesn't really say anything about it, but my mom is now heck-bent on me going to a top-notch college, getting a job as soon as possible, and all the things I want to do socially with friends doesn't even matter. I understand that they don't want me to end up like my sister, but I find it unfair. They were never this hard on her, and let her decide. Heck, she didn't even get her drivers license until last year! And now it's gotten to the point where they are catering to her every need and pushing me out into the world without warning. With that said, How do I talk to my parents about this? I want to do all of these things (drive,work,etc.) but at MY own pace.

Well for most parents there first child is a experiment in a way because when you came they now no what to do. What i would say is mom dad i really want all the stuff you want me to have and am willing to work hard for it but im still a teenager and I have to be able to hang out with my friends and do normal things i need time you guys are giving me stress ino that [lets call your sister laura] laura is at home and and you guys are scared that i will end up like that but u guys should help her back on her feet just because i am her sister does not mean i will end up like her because i am not her i am my own person with differnt needs i can do all the stuff you want me to do i just need a break to be a teenager hang out with my friends i need to live i only have one chance to be this age i dont want to spend it on books every waking secound i need to be a teen!!! just dont high your voice make it your normal talking tone and you should be just fine.

I met this guy two months ago and he's searious about me, but I'm not sure if us in a relationship would work. The first problem is that I could never get myself to commit to anyone. He could be the best person I have ever known. We have great conversations (mostly about sports), he respects me completely, we practically have the same mind in most cases, and I feel like he's the only one that I could talk to about things no one else seems to understand about me. He's always there when I need him. As you can tell, this guy is great. So what is wrong?
The second thing about us is the distance thing. Yes, he's there for me when I want to talk, but we're still in two different places. He lives in NY and I live in Boston. At first it didn't get to me much because that's what drew us closer in a way. Our first conversation lasted hours about new york and boston sports teams. We were both very competitive, but loved it. I never laughed so much. Maybe this distance thing isn't bad for most people, but I'm not one of them. Neither of us plan on leaving our hometowns. It's our homes. And this thing we have hasn't gone long enough to even think so far down the line, but it's starting to bug me because we never see each other. Am I just finding excuses or is "relationship" just not good? Of course we're young, but I am at a loss because I really want this to work.

Theres 2 things you can do one you can be his friend and mabe in a couple years you can go out take it slow also then you will be able to see more of a future the only downfall is if someone else comes along..Or you could just go and vist him go on a couple of dates after a while of going out and you both think your ready both of you should make a compromise you should make a new home in a city that is between both of your hometowns make sure you dont push each other if you both love each other wait tell your ready to make this compromise.

I dont sugest you run away what about school and you can always get a concler. But if you insist on running ill give u some advice. I sugest you go in foster care you can get a job and such but no home owner in there right mind will sell you a house and your friends can only have you for awhile. Foster care is your best option they will give you a house and food for free and you can still get education. And they do take you to a differnt city so you wont be in sesser anymore.

How do you develop a better relationship with your cat?
I try to feed him and play with him but he never seems to want anything to do with me! He snuggles up with my boyfriend instead of me and never wants to sleep with us in the bedroom. Mabe your cat likes males better then females?
I would sujest that you dont push your cat to be afectionite. Clean your cats litter box give the ocasional treat brush it anc do the best you can to take care of your cat. Eventally when your cat is ready it will go to you but somtimes there are cats that never are and unfortanitly your cat could be one of them. Just show your cat that your in charge and your the main owner and it should eventally come to you!!

i couldnt change friends even if i wanted to. the transition wouldnt be worth it.
please teach me how to be happy. i cant make myself have a better outlook on life. it just doesnt work. ill have happy times, but it doesnt last for long.what do i do with myself? i liked it better before i faced the reality of life. last year i was oblivious now after my 5 month relationship, i cant find that same high spirited person i used to be. where did that person go? how can i be that person again? how do i stop my moodiness? i cant help it.

If I were you I would start my decison to be happy by making every little thing count. Like say you really like umm french fries and tomarow your havin them think of the positives in your life. You could be im a dumpster eating garbge and sleeping on the street [without your french fries]. Also I would try to do things youve never done before make your life a adventure and vent threw a councler or on your computer. Try to breath in threw your nose and out threw your mouth when you have a MOODY moment so you can just think about what your doing at that very moment. Look at the positives and try to make some friends!

Well i would first start the conversation when there both in a good mood and i would tell both of them at the same time. I would tell them that before they say somthing to listen to you untell your done. Just start by saying that you meet a relly nice/cute guy and he is your bf and tell them that you want to go to his house to hang out you could start by making a compromise with them like only going to his house when his parents are home or somthing like that. Talk very assuring and if they do butt in with what your trying to say weight for them to stop talking and just keep tring to have them losten there rain and dont talk back to them act responsiblele!!

Will you will never no untell you go out with her. take her some where with you talk have fun learn about each other. If you learn you dont like her then you dont like her but if you never go out with her then you will always wonder if you could have loved her. And if you still have mixed feelings about her tell her talk to her if she loves you as much as you say she does she would want you to be happy and listen to you.

In chorus, I've been holding myself back.

You need to remember when your singing that everyone is doing the same thing you are. Just make a HUGE O with your mouth and sing your best!
Try to remember were you put your mouth when you are at home. Just keep trying and trying and dont ever give up!
