When that happens, our tastes in things change, we move on to better things that suit our interests. Maybe thats exactly what you need to do? Maybe you need some change. This world is ugly, but so beautiful if you really just look at it. Pay attention to the little things, they can change your whole day, and make it that much better. Try taking a walk, go out of your way to talk to someone, make a difference in someones life. Change up your schedule, don't just wake up, do the same stuff, go to bed. During the day there are many things you could be doing, talking to new people, making new friends, you have to be willing to go out there though and do it. <3 [ DefinedEyes's advice column | Ask DefinedEyes A Question ]
munchie007 answered Wednesday December 19 2007, 4:40 pm: yes! Life is like that most of the time. When you get old, old then it will be like that all the time but you'll be used to it. I'm not sure how old you are but i'm almost 15 and I'm always bored there's never nothing to do. You can find something to do. If you're really that bored. It'll get better when you're like 18. karenR answered Wednesday December 12 2007, 9:27 pm: You're normal. :) Everyone goes through it
and I'll give you the bad news that it doesn't
get better as you get older. It probably gets
worse! Get up, go to work, come home, eat, go to
bed. Next day, same shit different day.
Just try to find different things to amuse
yourself. In high school there are clubs you
can join, sports, any kind of school activity
will keep you busy. Outside of school just use
you imagination a little. You will find things
to keep you amused. But you are normal! :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
orphans answered Wednesday December 12 2007, 6:05 pm: Bored? Ugh, that's the worst! It usually happens this time of year because people like to stay inside and escape the frigid weather. Lack of sun and activites can also bring you down, so why not try a club at school? Or switch it up and ask some of your friends to go out and do something fun! If you are locked up in a school all day, and you go staright home, most of the time, you can have "cabin fever" you need to get outside and do something. Only you can make your life not boring, do what you like to do. And trust me, there is nothing wrong with you. You're normal and it's normal to be bored, just steer clear of the things that make you want to fall asleep, it always works for me! [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
the_unexpected answered Wednesday December 12 2007, 4:42 pm: That doesn't really sound like clinical depression. You could try something new, like taking up a sport or a hobby. Getting more exercise makes your body make endorphins, which make you feel better and less bored. While you probably don't have depression, since it is fall/winter, there's a chance you could have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), which basically means you get depressed during the fall/winter because of the lack of sun. One common cure is light therapy, basically for like a half hour every day you look at really bright light and it makes you feel better. leLovely answered Wednesday December 12 2007, 4:05 pm: No, from the information you provided it doesn't seem as if something's wrong. You are probably bored with your routine. When it's the offseason for sports I'm always bored with my routine too. Try to get involved with things at school, volunteer, or get a job. It'll add more things to your schedule and you won't seem so bored. [ leLovely's advice column | Ask leLovely A Question ]
triquetra answered Wednesday December 12 2007, 8:29 am: There is absolutly nothing wrong with you. You've only gotten youself into a routine and you can't find a way out of it. Go and call your friends, see what they're doing and ask if you can join in and have fun.
Go out and do different things like swimming, going for a walk somewhere or just watch TV. Life is something which we should all cheirsh and enjoy to the full.
