I think my hymen broke, but i've never had sex
Ok, so I think my hymen might have broken, but I'm still a virgin. I'm only 14, and sex seems like a scary thing to me. I think it might have broken while putting a tampon in. Later this month, I have a doctors appt, for kidney stones, and they have to go up inside me. I'm worried that if it really did break, they'll tell my mom. She would freak out. I don't think she'd believe that I've never had sex. Do you know maybe what I could do? Like, what I could maybe tell her?

The doctor's wouldn't tell your mother that your hymen was broken unless you were at risk of dying, and you aren't. Your doctor also isn't really checking to see if it's still intact, he/she's checking for kidney stones. Even if they did notice that it was broken, they are multiple reasons why it is. You can break your hymen not only from sex, but also common activities like bike riding, horseback riding, play sports, using a tampon, etc.

Your mom shouldn't freak out over your hymen being broken.
There's a ton of different ways for your hymen to break, so you don't have to have sex for that to happen.
If she freaks out, just tell her the truth.

well when tell her and she freaks out tell her to ask the doctor if you had sex they can tell if you did or if you didn't have sex

First off, the doctor will not be checking your hymen.
Secondly, any doctor worth thier salt knows that an intact hymen isn't proof of virginity. Lots of girls break thiers in other ways. I did. It's normal.
Lastly, it would be illegal for them to tell your mother, so they wont.

when you go to the doctors and it turns out your hymen really did break,just tell them the truth.Tell them how you were trying to put a tampon in and your hymen just broke,then for sure the doctors will tell your mom that.And when your mom asks if you had sex tell her your true opinion bout how youd never and you think its scary.

hymens can usually break when using tampons, and can even break from activities like horseback riding
so even if you did break your hymen, it could be from a lot of activities (like masturbation too...but thats also awkward)
annddd the doctors will not tell your mom because it is illegal to tell parents things like that without the consent of their children
and if your mom does find out just say, "i always use tampons" -- and she'll most likely believe you, because tampons commonly break hymens.
