yeah you can have sex while your on your period ,
lots of people do it , and alot of people say that it feels way better ,
and there aint no bad effects or anything either ,
but you can get pregnant ,
but its a small chance because when you're on your period your daily loosing your reproduced eggs . but theres still always that chance .
and you can still get STD's also .
so just always wear protection .
