It's exactly the same as having sex while you're not on your period. Except there will be a lot less friction, thanks to the blood, so lube will be unnecessary if you fail to get SUPER WET.

Though many people are turned off by period sex, it is the time of the month where a females hormones are most active, making them hornier, and perhaps better in bed?

Sex can also help cramps at your time of the month.
