No thats not really true, although some are, they should think about it this way. Your braces are there to make your teeth straight and when you get them off your teeth are gonna look pretty damn pretty. Like me per say, I had braces (but some people don't notice) but when I got them off I have a pretty BIG smile on my face. Your braces are there to make your teeth straight and make YOU feel pretty, and its not there for to please other people. And if a guy can't like you for you, or what you have thats his problem. TRUST ME, doing things for your benefit is better than doing things to please other people, if you live you life that way, you'll NEVER accomplish your dreams. Your pretty I'm sure, and when you'll get them off you'll be DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!. So even though you maybe self-concious about your braces (even when it comes to guys) don't be, they're there for a good reason and if a guy REALLY likes you he wouldn't care if you had braces or not, you're still the same person, and if they're like off they're just jerk offs! Braces ar beautiful and make you beautiful. ALSO: It does NOT get in the way of kissing like that person couple #'s down below me said, although the guys THINK they do, it certainly DOESN'T interfere with kissing at all. So if you're ready to plant a kiss tell the guy, it doesn't interfere. Hope I helped. :)

They really shouldn't care. If they are, then they aren't worth your time. They can either have a girlfriend with braces for two years, then a really nice smile, or they can have one who never had braces, with messed up teeth. Guys like nice smiles, so you'd think they wouldn't mind if you had braces for a while to get one. I guess it depends on the guy though. If you're debating about getting braces for that reason, get them anyway. It'll be worth it.

It really depends on the guy. Some guys love girls with braces, and others don't care for them. It's just like us girls, really. We all look for different things on guys. =]

most guys really dont care if a girl has braces or not. it might feel like all he is looking at is your teeth but in reality guys probably dont even notice you have them.

it varies from guy to guy. some guys like them, some guys dislike them, and some guys dont care either way, however, some get turned off by them because they can get in the way of kissing sometimes.
