Is there a way that I can put a movie onto my ipod (not a movie that i bought on itunes...but a movie that i have on DVD).

you can put dvds on your ipod but you have to convert the format the movie comes in. movies on itunes are already formatted to play on an ipod but regular dvds arent and need their format changed. however, i'm not sure what the format is or how to change it. sorry.

heyy. Okay ive been having major issues with my apple ipod nano [regular not video] i'm not going to ask the question here because it requires a lot of explaining and i dont want to waste anyones time. so, if your an ipod or itunes expert or you know a lot about it, please answer this question telling me and i'll ask you personally. thank you so so so so so much in advance. its really been pissing me off. =]

does anyone know a website where you can download free songs to your ipod legally without viruses, catches, or a lot of time? if it helps I have the newest version of itunes downloaded (link)

on myspace some artist will let you download their songs, but that's not always the case. it's more likely that you will find unkown artists with free downloads. limewire is a program that you can download and get free songs from, however it probably isn't legal. (although it should be cuz it's only file sharing) itunes had one free song every week, and some websites will let you download music for answering questions and visiting sponsor pages and such, you can find this by typing in free music online in a google search.

I think I am developing an eating disorder. Over the past year I have gained about 15 pounds, and its because I've been eating more. Recently I've been trying to get in shape again but then I "give up" and overeat. Then after the fact I promise myself I'll do better tomorrow but the same thing happens. I wish I could break this on my own but it's just not happening and I think I need help. It's just, I am too embarassed about it to go to anyone about it. Nobody knows about it because I don't look overweight right now but I am still gaining weight and soon it will be apparent. What should I do? (link)

this is not a disorder, it is just over eating. try to do something else when you want to eat. it doesn't have to be exercise, just something to keep you away from the food. read a book, watch a movie, paint a picture, walk your dog, whatever you find fun. if you aren't hungry, don't eat. if you are, it's fine to eat, just stop eating when you're full. something that might help is eating five small meals a day instead of three large meals. that way you will feel like you are getting more food. good luck.

I was at Abercrombie & Fitch yesterday, and when I went in there was this song playing and I really liked it, but it was almost over and the only thing I remember was that it was like a boy band and the last word was "Abrakadabra". BTW, this was at the Providence Place Mall in Rhode Island at like 2:30ish in the afternoon on Saturday, Dec. 22 if it matters or helps. Thanks. (link)

dashboard confessional is a great band for soft music. most of their songs sound acoustic, and the ones that aren't they have acoustic versions of. a few good songs i recommend are "matters of blood and connections" "ghost of a good thing" and "hands down" hope you like them!

when you see "cover" next to a song it means the song isn't by the original artist, someone has remade it, or done a "cover" of the song.

i have verizon so my phone might work differently than yours, but what i do is send my sound i want in a text message to myself, and then save the sound as a ringtone which is an option when you recieve the text. hope this works.

Did Zac Efron lip synce in the first High School Musical? Some people have said that he did but Im not sure. I know everyone lip syncs in the movie because of the dancing and all, but they had previously recorded the songs. I have heard the Andrew Seeley sings Zac's songs. supposedly in the first movie zac's voice was either blended with andrew seeley's, or he didn't sing at all, if you watch the credits at the end of the movie it should say. however, for the second one he did all his own music.

what is better...a zune or an ipod video.
its my birthday soon and i want a zune, the new one because i have alot of music and videos to put on it. but i have heard bad things about it and its battery. but the ipod video is more expensive right? what do you think is better to get basically? (link)

i have also heard bad things about the zune. i personally have an ipod video and i like it a lot. it holds videos, music, tv shows, podcasts, and photos. its also easier to find accessories for an ipod. it may be slightly more expensive, but i think it is worth it.

I am 15 and I heard the older you get the worse it hurts after you get your tonsils out. How much does it hurt for a teenager, and what do they do like before and after surgery

i had mine out when i was twelve, and i'm not sure if it hurts worse as you get older but i would think the pain level would stay the same. after the surgery your throat will hurt really bad and you won't be able to talk for a few days. you normally get crushed ice at the hospital for you to melt in your mouth. the back of your throat will feel really weird, kind of like cottage cheese. gross i know. you start with only beverages, and smoothies, ice cream, and pudding. you're supposed to stay in bed for 2-3 weeks, with little physical activity. after about a week and a half you can move to more solid foods like scrambled eggs and such. good luck.

I've been asked by a lot of guys when I'm going to have sex and whether or not I can have it now. Like..soon. I always say no, and that I'm willing to wait a long time until somebody actually WORTH my time and who's there for me...will share that moment with me, you know? I want it to not be rushed. And I certainly don't want any diseases or unexpected pregnancies (this is keeping me away from having sex now) and I feel like when I tell them I don't want to have sex until marriage, I'm embarrassing myself. But, actually..I do believe I'm a step higher than they are. Should I feel embarrassed? I mean..It's so wrong to have sex in high school, in my opinion..=/ help? (link)

you shouldn't feel embarassed at all. different people have different beliefs on when it is okay to have sex, and when you should. if you want to wait until after school that is your own preference and you shouldn't be embarassed at all. there will be guys that also want to wait and want their first time to be special, you just have to find them. and, if you wait, then you KNOW your first time will be great and there will be no regrets. however, you may find that you change your mind. i used to want to wait until after high school, but i fell in love with a guy and gave him my virginity. although we are no longer together we are still good friends and i have no regrets. so it's ok to change your mind later on, and that doesn't make you a tease for saying you wouldn't and then deciding you will.

normallt when a girl's cherry is popped she will bleed, but this doesn't always happen. if it was painful for her then it could still have been popped, although it could just be pain from having sex for the first time. her cherry may have already been popped from exercising or other activities like that without her realizing it, so there isn't really a definite way to tell.

My boyfriend and I have never had penetrative sex--or sex at all, honestly. We've only dry humped through four layers of clothing (his two, my two). Bodily fluids have never been exchanged.
I'm currently on my period.
Today I woke up with a throbbing headache; later on during the day, I experienced great fatigue and ran a fever of 100.4. I've been experiencing chills and hot flashes. My stomach feels odd, but not any different from other pains I've experienced while on my period.

there is no way you are pregnant. at all. so no worries about that. you're definitely sick with something though, but it's pobably just the flu.

you don't have to be an expert to get on the show, because it is designed to be a growing experience. however, there are things you can do to help you be better prepared. first, learn as much as you can about fashion and modeling, and the fashion industry. learn about different models, and different fashion statements. learn about different runway walks, and learn how to put makeup on effectively and tastefully. another good thing to do is look at fashion magazine ads, so you can see examples of modeling. look at the different poses they use, how they hold their body, and their facial expressions. this way you know what to do with your body when you are being photographed. practice by having a friend photograph you. one of the most important aspects of being a model is having confidence. good luck!

it's hard to give fashion ideas for someone else, it really depends on your personal fashion style and what you like to wear. however, layering is always fun to work with for the winter, like t-shirts over long sleeve shirts, and cute sweaters and vests worn over tops. uggs and any other type of fuzzy, furry, or "warm-looking" boots are great for winter. dresses and skirts can still be worn with a cool pair of tights, maybe with an interesting or crazy pattern. as long as you're comfortable and like what you're wearing you will exude confidence and poeple will notice you and your outfit. good luck.

composite leather is real leather and synthetic leather is manmade leather. it doesnt make much difference in terms of performance.

if you know a sports team that he likes you could get him something with that on it, a cd by a band he likes, a dvd he likes, tickets to a concert or sports game, you could burn him a cd with songs you think he will like or songs that make you think of him, a gift card to a store he likes, or a book you think he will like if he reads. good luck.
