I would also practice your efficient speech giving voice. I would also get into shape to be fit for everything your about to experience. If you have any fear of heights or anything I would try to overcome it because you never know what kind of photo shoots you'll have to do. Being a big *social butterfly* might help for people to pick you for the rewards if they win a challenge. Don't be the rude person everyone hates, but don't be the little angel sent from heaven. viciousxpunk answered Wednesday December 26 2007, 12:56 pm: you don't have to be an expert to get on the show, because it is designed to be a growing experience. however, there are things you can do to help you be better prepared. first, learn as much as you can about fashion and modeling, and the fashion industry. learn about different models, and different fashion statements. learn about different runway walks, and learn how to put makeup on effectively and tastefully. another good thing to do is look at fashion magazine ads, so you can see examples of modeling. look at the different poses they use, how they hold their body, and their facial expressions. this way you know what to do with your body when you are being photographed. practice by having a friend photograph you. one of the most important aspects of being a model is having confidence. good luck! ChevyIINova answered Wednesday December 26 2007, 9:28 am: Let me be the first to say congrats and good luck. Two years is a bit away but it's never to late to start a regimen. Eat right, exercise etc... I'm sure you know that already. If I were going to model. I'd start by keeping abreast of current fashions, the designers and who's who in the modeling industry. I'd start by perhaps reading the bios of the top models and seeing how they've succeeded and then applying my own art to it. When you get there, be willing to take criticism well. Don't take it to heart but learn from it.
P.S. Few years ago I used to date a FHM model. [ ChevyIINova's advice column | Ask ChevyIINova A Question ]
